Buying process very confusing
The buying process was very confusing and the answers were never clear, leaving much space for assumptions or misleading information. Took a lot of time to confirm and understand the final proposal.
Felt like a forced confusion negotiation to leverage prices.
Procurement process also very disturbing while renewing, this should have been a smooth process.
Although, the technical support was responsive and clear.

It would be nice to have some tutorials with this software after paying 1500.00 for this. The only thing i find is crap from singapore and you cannot understand the people. What a waste of money this has been, No tutoriaks unless you pay another 2-5k....

The sales process was good, but sales support wasn't
The sales process was good; however, I sent an email to: sales et minitab dot com, but I only get this answer:
"The Minitab Sales Department has received your e-mail message. We will reply by e-mail or telephone within two business days."
I was never contacted, so, 3 stars for your sales support. It is an expensive software, so, I expect a good support.

Unethical Practices and Unresolved Commission Issues of Minitab
We were a reseller of Minitab.
At one point, we closed sales for Minitab, earning us a commission of $3,000.00+ in total. Their sales account representative requested that this amount be paid in installments, which would be added to our future commissions.
After their reorganization in 2024, Minitab still owed us $1,900.00+. However, we were informed by their unethical sales personnel that this balance would no longer be paid to us.
We do not understand how an earned commission—one that should have been paid at the time of the transaction—could be considered "expired."
We trusted the sales representative’s request to pay in installments in good faith, only to now feel that this trust was misplaced. We firmly believe that these actions do not align with Minitab's values.
I have been emailing Minitab executives but have yet to receive any response.
I trust that Minitab’s commitment to business ethics will prevail over the deceptive and unethical tactics of this sales representative, who is now assigned to another country.

Products great but licence renewal process has been awful.
Change in licence model from concurrent to named user, poor deal.

The ability to be evaluate data using very simple steps. The type of statistical calculations availalble.
The merging and manipulation of data without having to use a different software.
Whatever make task simple and intuative to support efficient data analysis is very helpful.

Quality down, price up.
The subscription model and the pricing of it does not work for me. I can't justify the cost to me and to classes I would propose to run.
Minitab 17 was the last version with a good user interface. The one thing that set Minitab apart for initial phases of data analysis was the ability to tile graphs. It's gone.
There is a functional error in the analysis of variability for DOE, first reported in version 13 but still there.
