they refuse to respond to my question…

they refuse to respond to my question of where did my crypto go? It was successfully sent from OKX (which are very helpful) but Mintify refuses to acknowledge the receipt of ETH. I'm in limbo and out the funds. They are deceitful in their NFT processing, and I have lodged complaints and will try our attorney general though I doubt they can do anything about this

Scam Alert

Scam Alert
They are Thieves - Please Do Not Touch!!!

NFT’s
Mintifyart.com

Hi all this is the scam.

You will be delighted being approached by a person interested in your artwork and wanting to pay 4eth - 8eth (eth = Ethereum maybe more) (say worth 8000 to 16000 UK pounds) - they’ll also want to purchase several pieces of your artwork so the stakes will be high.

If you agree you’ll be guided to Mintifyart .com

Mintify Art will want 0.20 eth to mint each piece of artwork.

I was lucky - I said (like a fool) I’d do one art piece then do another 7 in one go.

I paid the 0.20 minting fee (approx £400) and as the purchaser said he bought it straight away (of so he said as on the email from Mintify Art was a completely different name to ghat of the purchaser.

I thought ghat Mintifyart would take their ‘agreed’ 20% commission and pay out the balance.

NO!

They then demanded that I pay the 20% commission 0.80 eth £1600 which I foolishly again did.

(Fortunately I agreed yo the cheaper 4eth sale rather than one of the 8eth images.

Now delighted thinking the proceeds of sale would come across 3.2eth £6400 approx

NO!

They then refuse to pay out.

I did query their process from the start and they lied about the commission and them about paying out the balance which they said they would pay straight away.

Their next excuse was that they withhold the proceeds of sale as a safeguard against money laundering then the purchaser snd Mintifyart were pushing me to list the rest so then I’d get paid out (less the first sale) .. Total con!!

They have no intention of paying - I’ve reported them to Action Fraud Trading Standards etc to no avail.

I’ve spent days chasing.

Could you imagine the sums involved if I’d minted 8 or 9 images in one go?

Check their phone number / UK mobile - doesn’t work!

Registered address is a flat in a block of London flats.

Google earth the purchasers address you’ll notice not worthy of the sums of money involved.

Please heed this warning.

Thanks for reading and sincerely hope I’ve saved you loads of money albeit maybe having broken a dream.

this company fails to disclose costs to NFT artists selling their work

this company fails to disclose costs to those minting and selling NFTs on their site. No where on the site is there any indication of costs involved as Sales Commissiion- only a statement that such a commision may be due with no amount listed. There are fees for minting,(0.2ETH) a fee if only one artwork is being minted,(0.2ETH) that fee can be avoided by minting a second piece at 0.2ETH.
Then, proceeds from sales will not be released unless a Sales Commission is paid up front ( not from the proceeds of the sale)and only if a minimum number of sales are completed.

Irreputable buyers on the marketplace

This company deals with buyers that deceive the creators of the nfts. They permit unscrupulous individuals to open accounts and purchase and resale works. These buyers try to rip off the artists when they have the first opportunity. I would not mint nfts on their website.

This is a con

This is a con, pure and simple. They have a20% hidden sales charge. They refuse to release your funds until you pay them, unlike most NTF sites, which deduct commission. They also expect you to pay them your tax at 30% before releasing any funds, which is fraud. Avoid at all costs.

Mintifyart Marketplace Review

I am pretty new to the crypto trading world, so I was skeptical about it at first. But after going through the platform interphase, it was easy to navigate and get my transactions done right. Now thanks to them, I have a better understanding of crypto and NFTs.
