I had an extremely negative experience…

I had an extremely negative experience working with this company. Their decisions and management practices had a severe and lasting impact on my business, ultimately damaging our financial standing and wiping out much of the equity we had built over time.

Communication was inconsistent, expectations were unclear, and key responsibilities were handled with a level of carelessness that directly affected our operations. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues, we never received the support or accountability we expected from a professional partner.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable or responsible relationship.

Fast execution orders

Fast execution orders, good evidence of individual portfolio.
Improovments : date of scheduled interests dissapeared until new platform update .It passed two months since then.
For bond backed securities was eliminated info regarding next payment ammount.I don't understand why? I wish to analize posibility to reinstall this status.Thank you

Account Limitations and Aggressive Document Requests Ruined the Experience

I have been putting off writing this review for too long, but my deep disappointment with the Mintos experience demands that I finally share it. While I am awarding the platform itself a single star, the customer service experience warrants a rating of at least minus four stars (-4/5) due to the high-pressure, overwhelming, and disorganized nature of their required procedures.

My investment experience was completely overshadowed by the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification process. What I encountered was a proper bombardment of emails requesting countless documents and statements.

The constant flow of requests, which often felt repetitive or unstructured, created an immense amount of stress and administrative work. Worst of all was the intimidating tone of the communication. I repeatedly received urgent emails that contained aggressive language, such as:

"If you don't answer within 5 days we will limit your account!"

This constant threat of account limitation, coupled with the sheer volume of documents required, made the entire process feel less like a regulatory requirement and more like a hostile interaction. For a platform operating in the financial sector, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Investors should be guided through necessary compliance steps with clarity and courtesy, not with a five-day ultimatum.

My time with Mintos has been a major disappointment, primarily because their customer service handling of the mandatory document submission was highly unprofessional, stressful, and poorly managed. The platform's operational experience simply does not outweigh the severe failure in investor relations and compliance processing.
The requests were deeply intrusive, even demanding specific travel dates and countries visited, which felt like a massive overreach far beyond what is required for standard financial compliance.

Experience with AML was unpleasant

Platform itself offer good return, but experience with AML was unpleasant. My account was frozen for 3 months and AML replied every after week or two. I had to redirect my requests straight to Platform customer service. And in the end [probably AML ego] they shut down my account.

You have to be careful with autoinvest…

You have to be careful with autoinvest if you don't want to get your money lent for more than 200 months. I have +10% of my wallet stuck for more than 18 years.

Blocked out of my account due to their fault to verify the new passport

For more than 2 weeks I'm trying to verify my new passport. Their system is not working, after tenths of emails, responded that they will inform the IT department to check the fault. In the meantime I cannot withdraw or deposit money from my account that means I have blocked from my account having inside approx 10k euro. Customer assistance terrible... No live chat, no phone nothing only email. Just consider these if you wanna invest.

Just stay away from Mintos!

Just stay away from Mintos!! It all sounds nice, but the final result isn’t worth it.

Invested about 100K in Mintos during a year in 2021-2022. After that I stopped all investments. Sure, I made some profits on the loans. At the end of the year though, I had more than 12K of non-recovered loans.

And again, sure, some of that will be recovered sooner or later. I am now more than two years further and still waiting to recover 4.5K that are indefinitely blocked, a part of it designated as bad and unrecoverable loans. So in the end it seems I lost a lot of money, together with a lot of time, energy and worries.

There are better and safer ways to invest your money without ending up with bad and unrecoverable debt.

Our aim is always to recover 100% of the overdue funds as quickly as possible, yet there can be cases when we are not able to recover 100% of the overdue funds and in such cases, certain part of the overdue funds is deemed irrecoverable and gets classified as bad debt which can be written off.

In general, the overdue funds are not considered to be lost. Our approach towards the recovery of the overdue funds is quite straightforward- we need to exhaust all the possibilities, not excluding legal ways to enforce the payments towards Mintos and our investors. We have managed to recover 100% of the funds in several cases previously and we intend to keep on doing that.

I am satisfied with the work the company has carried out so far. The results achieved reflect a solid effort focused on building trust, an invaluable asset for a company like Mintos. So far so good

Very nice platform. There are many loan originators, offering the opportunity to diversify and gain exposure to multiple countries, which helps limit risk. The platform is also quite intuitive. However, they should improve communication by providing more detailed financial statements for all loan originators.

account closed — again!

Four days after those clowns sent me an email that one of my accounts was approved and verified (after both were closed) — they emailed that my account is closed. Again!

I am not bothered, just amused. This is such a typical Latvian attitude with zero regard to rules and fairness. Customer is always wrong. Just like their government, they always lie and do as they please, chaotically and with zero accountability.

Absolutely unacceptable

Absolutely unacceptable. Seventeen days to verify my account, when they boast it only take five days. Seventeen days of silence, no updates, no replies to my email. Nothing.

If they can't handle something as basic as onboarding when I have just little amount in it, what happens when large sum is at stake? Ignoring customers is reckless. Stay away.

Every time I log into Gold Rule, I feel reassured. I know my money is safe and I can withdraw them whenever I need.
