Beware of this Scam!

I recently purchased a set of advertised eyelashes, three pairs for £26, and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. These lashes were supposed to be the real deal, but they turned out to be nothing short of a scam.

Firstly, they didn’t adhere to my skin as promised; they were practically useless. I’ve seen better quality in pound shop products. When I reached out to their customer service for a return or refund, it felt like dealing with a ghost town. No one replied, and they acted as if they didn’t exist.

To add insult to injury, I had to involve PayPal to try and get my money back. After a painful waiting period, they instructed me to send the items back via tracked delivery, which cost me an additional £6.85. To date, my case remains unresolved, and I haven’t recovered my money. Instead, I’ve wasted even more.

I urge all potential buyers to be cautious of this scam. Don’t fall for the glossy advertisements that promise quality when all you’ll get is a faulty product and pathetic customer service. Save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere for a genuine product. This experience has been nothing short of a disappointment.

Faulty lashes, shocking lack of communication

Lashes arrived and the plastic case had a crack in it. Didn't really matter, as long as lashes work, fair enough.

Tried to remove lash from the case - as per video instruction, and it started to lose lashes and separate itself from the essential part that sticks to your eye.

10th July - Went straight on to website emailed Miss Actually to explain.

11th July - sent messenger via FB.

12th July - resent original email as no response.

15th July - Response from Miss Actually, apologising and asking for video/photos of proof. I sent video via messenger and photos via email.

It's now 22nd July and I've had no further response from Miss Actually at all.

It's just ridiculous, how completely unprofessional.

So, I'm out of pocket and have faulty lashes - with no return address or chance of a refund.

Sort yourselves out Miss Actually, this is not how to treat people who trust you with their money.
