The most amazing Maths tutor
Joanne was an absolutely amazing tutor for my daughter. Evie had no confidence with maths before she met Joanne & we wanted to find a tutor for her who had the patience & time to go through every detail (however small) with her & to be able to recap over the work again & again, and to also be happy to go at Evie’s pace sometimes (if needed). Also, Evie struggled with maintaining information, so repetitiveness was crucial and Joanne ticked all of the boxes for us. She was always on hand via message if Evie needed any extra support when she was struggling with her maths questions in her free time. Joanne is approachable, kind and just a genuinely lovely lady, which was a massive plus - as my daughter takes a while to warm to people but she instantly took to Joanne and she actually looked forward to her lessons with her. Even though they were on line Zoom lessons it felt as if Joanne was physically in the room with her, as she had such a friendly, happy aura about her. She was always so positive with Evie and there were times when Evie had some meltdowns and Joanne would stay on line with her after the group lessons and calmly talk to her and would bring her confidence back. When Evie first started with Joanne in January 2024 she was receiving grade 2 in her mocks and class tests. Today, Evie has received her GCSE results and she has received a grade 4. We are truly, truly thankful to Joanne as we know that Evie would not have received this grade if she hadn’t have been tutored by Joanne. Her style of teaching worked for Evie and I am truly thankful for everything Joanne has done for Evie. Thank you so so much.
