Misrepresentation of sale

Bought a 7-Seater, Got a 5-Seater – Kloster Fords misrepresentation ruined my families Christmas!
01 December 2025, I purchased a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport from Kloster Ford, Madeleine, handled the sale, under a signed contract for a 7-seater. Krystal handled the finance.
What did I get? A 5-seater.
And it gets worse:
• Salesperson confirmed in writing it was a 7-seater (I have the text!).

* General Manager Chris limited options to resolve. Harassment me with phone calls even after requesting correspondence through email due to being a night shift worker.
• Threatening emails from both the General Manager Chris and Group Operations Manager Dale stating they were going to report the car “missing” and de-register it, they even sent an email on Christmas Eve at 12:20pm with demands!

• A debt collection agent sent by the General Manager turned up at my home on Saturday 03 January 2026 at 3:30pm to put pressure me.

• I corresponded with six Kloster employees
(Madeleine, Krystal, Sally, Daniel, Chris and Dale) who all knew about the Pajero—and it still took me to figure out their mess!

Finance has been put on hold because I would not agree to sign and pay the same amount, then they went on a tangent about cost of seats at manufacturing for a car sold second hand.
I even have written confirmation that the VIN is permanently stamped as a 5-seater and cannot be converted.
This has caused immense stress on my family at Christmas time, sleepless nights, and financial strain.

This experience has highlighted the importance of transparency, accountability, and compliance with consumer law. I am now pursuing resolution through NCAT to ensure fairness and uphold consumer rights.

Oh and did I mention the car was originally sold by Kloster Mitsubishi then traded at Kloster Ford, it also had all its services with them! They should have known THIS CAR!

Consumers deserve honesty and respect. Think twice before buying from Kloster Ford or the Tony White Group

I got ripped off by San Jose Mitsubishi Service Dept.

I took my wife's 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander on 12/8/2025 for oil, oil filter change, and tire rotation to San Jose Mitsubishi Dealership, where we bought the car. During the waiting time Alex Merrifield, the guy in charge of the service department came out and told me some bolts were missing underneath the vehicle, I said they are very tightened from factory and cannot fall just like that. He showed me a picture I couldn’t understand and suggested that probably the bolts were removed in another shop, I replied, the only place I take my wife’s car for service if just right here, at the dealer. Later, Alex told me they found some bolts in the back (the shop) and put them in place; I am not even sure they did. After almost 3 hrs. waiting at the dealer for the car to be ready, Alex sent me a message that the car was ready, and all the services were performed. I received the paperwork, car key, and left. Then I drove to my wife's work as she was driving my car, and we needed to switch vehicles. As I was waiting for her to show in the parking lot, I started revising the new position of the wheels, which were easy to identify due to some scratches on the right-side rims, where I applied touch up paint to make those scratches not so obvious. To my surprise (a bad one), I realized that the wheels were in the same position they were in before the service. In other words, the tire rotation job was not performed. Therefore, we let Alex know about it in an email, which he responds by saying he will check out on this. Next morning I received a reminder regarding a new appointment for 12/16/25, but no explanation was given. I assume to finalize the service not done. I am afraid to take the car back as they can retaliate by making some damage to my car, like the story about the missing bolts The crew at the San Jose Mitsubishi service department are dishonest technicians and try to rip off the customers as they can especially on guys like me, an elderly individual. My wife went back to talk to Alex and the business manager, but they were not available, as usual. I texted Alex to ask him to revise the invoice for 12/8/2025, to remove the tire rotation service as it was not done, but he did not respond at all. I have lost confidence in this dealership as they do not stand for the customers but ripped them off. Why? I really cannot see why, and guess what, they don't care whatsoever. Terrible, isn't it?

I am truly disappointed by Mitsubishi's…

I am truly disappointed by Mitsubishi's behavior. In Italy my car, an Outlander with 120,000 km, has been stuck in the garage for over 2 months because the spare part has not arrived. The dealership tells me that the Italian Mitsubishi distributor has even gone bankrupt. The fact is that the car, as good as new, is stuck in the garage and I am suffering enormous damage.

1-Star Review: Mitsubishi Morley

I am absolutely appalled by the lack of care and professionalism from Mitsubishi Morley. A family member purchased a car from them in good faith, trusting they were a reputable company. Unfortunately, within just six weeks barely driving it, the entire wheel literally flew off the car while leaving a car park. Thankfully, it wasn’t at higher speeds or worse — but this should never happen with a vehicle, especially one sold as "safe."

Prior to this, the car was taken to a mechanic who identified several noticeable issues, all without even pulling the car apart. A detailed report was provided, and we sent it to Mitsubishi Morley for a response. But we were completely ignored. No explanation, no concern, nothing.

Then, the wheel incident occurred, leaving me stranded and forced to tow the vehicle back home. When Mitsubishi Morley took the car for inspection, they claimed they would add a missing window washer out of “goodwill” — but that was the extent of their response. No responsibility taken for the car's mechanical failure or the safety risk involved.

Now, the situation is in the hands of our lawyers, but I strongly urge anyone to steer clear of this dealership. Their customer service is non-existent, and they clearly don’t care about the safety or wellbeing of their customers. This experience has been a nightmare, and I would not recommend buying from Mitsubishi Morley to anyone. Tim you make me sick! You should get proper Manager training & learn to look after your customers as priority!!! What a crap bloke you are

The Art of Disappointment—Sport Durst…

The Art of Disappointment—Sport Durst Durham Cardealer Edition

If you’re in the mood for a comically frustrating car-buying experience, look no further than Sport Durst Durham Cardealer. My recent trip was a masterclass in wasted time and confusion.

It all started with an enthusiastic text from Ms. Jade, confirming my appointment to drive test four cars. Fast forward three hours, and I arrived, only to discover that three of the four cars were already sold! The last one? Oh, it was “blocked.” Apparently, I could only admire it from the driver's perspective—who knew cars could be so exclusive?

I waited a staggering two hours, only to be met by the so-called Manager (Mr Marcelo), who casually remarked, “We’re too busy to let you know.” Busy, indeed! Busy making fake appointments for cars that don’t exist, it seems. I wouldn’t have been nearly as upset if they’d just been honest. Instead, they proceeded to pitch me other vehicles as if I hadn’t just traveled across town for something very specific.

Oh, and let's not forget the cherry on top: I have an 8-month-old baby girl. Navigating taxis with a car seat and stroller is an Olympic sport in itself, and now I had to do it all for absolutely nothing.

The only reason I’m giving this review a star is for Ms. Maria, who genuinely tried her best to locate those phantom cars. Kudos to her for actually caring!

So, if you’re looking for a dealership that combines inefficiency, miscommunication, and the ability to make you question your life choices, Sport Durst Durham Cardealer is your go-to spot. Just be prepared to leave with your money and a profound sense of regret.

Car salesman sold my intended car to another person

Sunday, July 28, 2024
I've NEVER been so MAD, UPSET and ANGRY as I was yesterday, Saturday, July 27, 2024 when I went to Vickar Mitsubishi 950 Regent Ave Winnipeg, MB to pick up the car that me and Robert (Sale Manager) had agreed on 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT the day before AND:
{Here's how this story went}
Saturday morning (Yesterday) I called Robert and asked him if the price we agreed upon the day before was still good (He said YES) so, I also asked him if they take CASH, he said yes SO, I said; "OK, I'm going to go to my Bank and get the cash and I'll be down to pick the car up" he said "GREAT , see you when you get here".
I went to my Bank (BMO) and wanted to get my daily withdraw limit raised on my debt card so I could just pay for the car that way and the Bank wouldn't do it so I had to get so much (Cash) from the teller then the rest from the ATM (Total WAISTE of time) AND, I don't like walking around with all that cash on me.
FINALLY, I got all the cash and my friend drove me down to see Robert at Vickar Mitsubishi 950 Regent Ave. I walked in the front doors and was going to tell the receptionist I was there to see Robert when (At the back of the building he seen me and waved me over) YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID TO ME?
"WE SOLD THE CAR!"
What type of person does this, he NEW I was coming down with the cash and WHY didn't he tell the other sales people he had someone coming down to get the car?
You can imagine how I felt!
I WAS PISSED OFF TO NO END!
I just had to share this.

Mitsubishi guarantee means nothing

We have a Space Star. The media system started to give problems 2 years ago, still under guarantee, unusable as is stopping while being used and unsafe. We took it to the dealer in Bergen op Zoom, after probably 30 visits not solved, in that time besides not working well got completely broken twice, dealer said is the media but in my view unlikely, anyway we raised to Mitshubishi Nederland, which asked us to take it back to the same dealer as they started with the problem, they did no care about all the time lost and issues with the dealer.
We did one last time they replaced the media for one in their stock, still not working and gave us the car with damages and pieces hanging from the media system... we sent photos to Mitsubishi NL and to the dealer to ensure it was fixed.. we were assured it would be, my daughter picked up the car: The damage still there, the pieces hanging still there and same problem with the media and they disable the dashcam, even after trying to change phone and new cables still the problem.
As summary the guarantee means nothing and Mitshubishi does not care about safety and clients time.
In the meantime the dealer is not longer a Mitsubishi dealer but Mitsubishi has not cared to resolve the problem.
We do not use the media player any longer as is not safe.

Worst experience ever with a car…

Worst experience ever with a car dealership. Victory Mitsubishi in Bronx NY. They advertise cars at unrealistic prices to get you there and then tell you the car is sold. I had an Appointment and I told the fake manager that I was traveling from out of state. They would not take a phone deposit. They lied about everything and when I wanted help from the management they said the general manager was out for the next 2 days. The person who said she was a manager on the phone before I got there was not a sales manager and didn’t work in the building. I will be contacting the attorney general and Mitsubishi corporate. They should not be in business. I would stay far away from this dealer.
