I've been insured by MPID for several years now and I honestly wouldn't change. I've had to claim once and the process was super easy, and when i've changed phones, they make it nice and simple to update the policy. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience with this mobile phone insurance company.
After losing my phone while travelling abroad, what should have been a straightforward claim turned into a month long nightmare involving more than 30 emails. The entire process felt like they were doing everything possible to avoid paying out.
They repeatedly asked for information that had already been provided and kept adding new requests to drag the process out further.
Some of the ridiculous things they demanded included:
• My Google Maps timeline from the day the phone went missing
• Copies of my boarding passes to prove I was travelling
• Multiple written explanations of exactly what I last used the phone for and how I retraced my steps
• Forcing me to pay a third-party company just to report the phone as lost
• proof of purchase of travel e-sim
• utility bills
Also, multiple other absurd requests and questions that no other insurance company has ever requested when submitting a claim previously.
Even after providing all of this, they continued questioning the claim and asking for more information.
When you lose a phone while travelling, it’s already stressful enough. Instead of helping, this company made the entire situation far more stressful and drawn out than it needed to be.
What’s even more concerning is that after reading the reviews here, it’s clear many other customers have experienced the exact same issues with the claims process.
Based on my experience, the process seems designed to delay, exhaust, and discourage customers from completing their claims.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this insurance provider to avoid them and look elsewhere.
