Robbed blind!

had to pay a deposit of £160 to get them out. They arrived at scene which was no where near where I was, despite giving them the pin for my location, a further 10 minutes later they arrived and got started on the tyre, no mention of it being budget after replacing an unaffected premium tyre! as the repair guy was putting the tyre back on the vehicle there was an audible hissing and I was told to just drive home quickly, baring in mind this was 1hr and a half away and would have taken several stops to blow my tyre up along the M1, I was charged an additional £150 for a budget tyre which didn’t fit because the issue was with the alloy being flattened by a pot hole, which upon repair by a reputable company I was notified was extremely visible, despite this company feeling no need to let me know. The tyre deflated within 10 minutes of them leaving And I was stranded in exactly the same way a bit further down the A road I was travelling along, Safe to say I was robbed by this abysmal service. After contacting a private recovery company to tow me to an alloy repair shop I was shown the state of my rim and even I could see the flattening in it, how I was not advised of this left me feeling 100% taken advantage of, I mean £500 pounds of repairs on top of their £310 for a tyre change is ridiculous! do not recommend this company, Disgusting service.

If I could leave worse rating I would

If I could leave worse rating I would, quoted £160 to swap 1 tyre over for me paid the £60 deposit for them to phone me to say it would be £200, £60 deposit was unrefundable and the language barrier was somewhat frustrating, I’ve paid £60 for nothing and absolute joke of a company don’t waste your money like I have, told me it was non refundable as it’s the call out charge, I literally asked for a refund straight away so the van probably hadn’t even of left the depot yet and still refused, absolute daylight robbery

I will not use this company again

I used Mobile Tyre Solutions for a mobile tyre replacement in Sheffield after getting a flat tyre. I was quoted a total price of £280 while stranded and needing an urgent repair.

I later discovered the tyre fitted was a budget tyre, which wasn’t made clear at the time of the quote. I paid £120 by card, then was told the card machine had stopped working and was required to pay the remaining £160 by bank transfer.

No invoice or receipt was provided, and I received no response when I followed up by email afterwards.

While the tyre itself was fitted, I was left uncomfortable with the lack of price transparency, the change in payment method, and the overall handling of the transaction. I wouldn’t use this service again and I have reported to trading standards

Withholding money from me

Please do NOT use this service.
I had my tire fitted ect, but was instructed to pay the remaining balance over to the company. When the fitter arrived, I was told that I needed to pay the fitter and not the company.
The fitter refused to leave unless I paid him, so I had paid both the Fitter and Mobile Tyre Solutions.
When enquiring about getting the payment that I had transferred returned to me, I've been met by constant lies and empty promises. I'm currently going down the route for Small Claims.

Absolutely fantastic service

Absolutely fantastic service - we had an emergency flat tyre and contacted the company on WhatsApp. I received an instant reply and sent across all the details. A quick phone call had arranged a repair within the hour. The 2 guys turned up on time, they kept in touch with us so we knew when they were arriving too. It was a Sunday evening and we were in the middle of nowhere and they really came through. Excellent!

Quick

I was quoted they would be here in 1 hour but arrived really quickly. The gentleman that changed my tyre was really polite, professional and worked really fast. As it was a Sunday and I needed the car I really appreciated that I was able to get this done so fast.

I won't be using Mobile Tyre Solutions ever again...

I wish I'd read the reviews on here before contacting Mobile Tyre Solutions. I had a dreadful experience with them today. I booked a morning (between 8 and 10am) home tyre fitting appointment with them the evening before. The price was steep but I thought I'd be paying for a decent service. They turned up at 12pm, ruining any chance of me getting to work for even half a day. I'll give them one star by virtue that at least they brought the correct tyre along... but then damaged the wheel rim, which the fitter claimed the damage was already there (not a chance, I am meticulous when it comes to wheel care). He showed me a video - that he claims he always takes before starting any work - of my wheel with a clear 'tyre lever' mark... but then why didn't he query that damage with me or show me his video prior to starting? It was only until I noticed the mark as he tried to drive off at speed and I stopped him that he whipped his phone out and then tried to wipe the marks off the wheel. No apology from the fitter. Plenty of apology from his boss who offered me just £20 off. I know I could've got that tyre for less but I thought I was paying for expediency. And I know it will be more grief than its worth trying to claim the damage so I'll just have to take this whole experience on the chin. You "live and learn" is the lesson here... and I certainly won't be using Mobile Tyre Solutions again.

DO NOT USE - SCAM COMPANY

If I could give minus stars it would be -infinity. The worst company, do not use. I had a flat tyre and needed it fixed ASAP. Called a few places who couldn’t come out for a few hours and then I found this place who said they could be with me in 45-60 mins, winner! Was told the driver would call when he was 15 mins away. 75 mins after my call I received no contact from the driver who was already 15 mins late. Called the company back who told me the same story as previous reviews that the supplier gave the wrong tyre so he would be another 45 mins. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited another 45 mins. Still no contact so called back, he then said he’s 30 mins away, stuck in traffic, it’s a Friday afternoon. That’s no excuse when he’s already 1 hour over the scheduled arrival time, so I asked them to cancel. The driver then called and said he was 15 mins away I said no, cancel, they are not getting my money. Called the company back and told them to cancel, the man on the phone told me ‘well the driver is close by now, but I can offer you £30 off the £220 quoted’, and his attitude was like I was in the wrong for wanting to cancel after they’ve given ME the run around. Told them to refund my £50 deposit and he refused and said I need to speak to the manager who would be in later on (after 5 on a Friday BH weekend, yeah right). Now on the next day, got my tyre fixed for £150 cheaper than this place and still no call from the manager or a refund. I have now raised this with trading standards and the motor ombudsman because this place is a complete scam. PLEASE DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Our tyre blew on our car

Our tyre blew on our car, found this company on Google. We were waiting over 3.5 hours when we were told someone would be with us within an hour. And then the two men that turned up scratched and chipped our alloy, and then shouted at us when we challenged them on our damaged alloy. We paid £350 for the privilege and now a week later, I have emailed, rang the company multiple times and keep getting fobbed off with “someone will get back to you”. Disgusting service, please do not use.

Awful

Awful. Do not use. This company will blame you for not giving them all the info, even when you give them the correct make and model of your car and the correct tyre size. I even told the guy the brand of tyres which were currently on the car. We have a bmw, runflats are standard. They will take your deposit and even after telling you, you can have it back, refuse to return it. Blaming the new guy for the mistake. They even record the calls and admit what has been said etc. But still refuse. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible

Recently had 2 burst tyres on the side of dual carriageway, not close to where I live.
Called and was quoted £380 for 2 tyres and told 30-40 minutes.
Agreed and made a deposit payment of £130.
They called 30 minutes later to advise it would be an additional £70 and another 60 minute wait.
Apparently a human error was made (they didn’t check if the tyres were available)
We declined as £450 seemed a lot and felt they weren’t being genuine.
The option was to pay the extra £70 and wait 60 minutes, then retake a refund of the deposit that had been paid.
We took the refund.
Asked for them to send me an email confirming they had processed a refund of the deposit. No email has been received.
They also advised no other company would be able to source the tyres cheaper. The next company we called checked they could get the tyres (they could) and were £50 cheaper.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Rude, lying, bullying and robbing. Charged £280 for a single tyre replacement. I tried to cancel then agreed to lose the £80 deposit. They then took the £200 and refused to refund it subsequently bullying me into having the job done. The fitter was very nice. I’d rather walk than have these touch my car again
