MobyX is a transport-focused software development company that strengthens mobility through its comprehensive suite of platforms, modeling tools, and deep experience with EU projects. Our flagship platform, MobyApp, facilitates highly customizable surveys for collecting longitudinal, multimodal travel diaries—a tool recognized with an award at CIVITAS AGORA 2023. Complementing MobyApp is the HARMONY Modelling Suite, developed under the Harmony project. This suite integrates spatial and transportation planning tools — from activity-based models to land-use and regional economic dynamics — across strategic, tactical, and operational levels. It has been successfully used for major metropolitan areas including Athens, Turin, Oxfordshire, and the Upper Silesian–Zagłębie Metropolis. In the MOVE2CCAM project (HORIZON Europe, 2022–2025), MobyX led the development of the Impact Assessment Modelling Tool (IAMT). Combining system dynamics and machine learning, IAMT simulates the long-term impacts of CCAM (cooperative, connected, automated, and autonomous mobility) innovations across domains such as emissions, land use, job markets, equity, and safety, projecting outcomes through 2050. IAMT supports region-specific evaluations for areas including Helmond (Netherlands), GZM (Poland), and the North Aegean (Greece), and was refined through extensive co-creation with citizens and stakeholders from multiple countries. Currently, in the SPINE project, MobyX contributes simulation and behavioral modeling tools to drive co-creation of inclusive public transport innovations via participatory living labs and active stakeholder engagement across cities in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and beyond. Our new CitizenApp platform allows cities to integrate existing services and offer citizens a travel companion that fosters mobility initiatives. MobyX’s role in GREEN-LOG involves enabling the deployment of logistics-as-a-service platforms featuring autonomous delivery, cargo-bike micro-consolidation, and multimodal parcel systems across living labs in Athens, Barcelona, Flanders, Oxfordshire, and Ispra. Through EXTREME-XP, we implement experimentation-driven analytics and explainable AI frameworks that produce personalized, stakeholder-responsive insights, embracing a human-in-the-loop approach.
