Moda went into administration on July…

Moda went into administration on July 14th, just two days after I made a warranty claim on an expensive piece of garden furniture I bought from them. They will no longer honour the seven year warranty they boast of on their website and deliberately avoided my request knowing they were going into administration. The new owners will not honour customer orders or warranties Before July 14th. Dishonest doesn‘t begin to cover it.

Finally found our ideal patio set

Just bought a patio set of furniture in the Moda sale at Riverpark Road, Manchester. We have been scouring garden centres and suppliers in the area for ages looking for the right rattan set but nothing hit the spot. Delighted therefore, to have now found just what we want and it is top quality at the right price, free delivery thrown in. Manager Pip was particularly helpful fielding all our questions and removing any concerns we had and when a returning customer we chatted to told us how pleased she was with her previous purchase it was a no-brainer.

Mike H and Terry delivered my furniture…

Mike H and Terry delivered my furniture with care and giving me a call shortly before they arrived.
Good quality furniture and great experience so far from ordering to delivery. The weather turned chilly next day I after I set up my new garden furniture so yet to try it but I'm excited to make the most of it this summer and over the coming years.

Poor customer service

I ordered over £2,000 worth of garden furniture from this company in February which had an 8-10 week wait. The monies were taken from my bank account but come May I still hadn’t heard a word from Moda on my order. Over the next month I had to keep phoning them for an update and was given plenty of apologies and various reasons for the late delivery. It finally turned up in June.
A week ago I decided I needed the matching box to store the cushions etc for the set so placed an order for just under £1,000 which was due for delivery in 7-10 days. Once again the funds were taken from my account. Today I phoned to find out when I would expect my box only to be told it wasn’t due in until September. There is no mention of this on the website and once again no one from their customer service rang to tell me what was happening. I have cancelled my order and won’t be placing any more with this company.
Their customer service is non existent. How hard would it have been to kept me informed about the delays and why show products on their website that aren’t in stock? I wouldn’t have ordered and paid for this box if I’d known it was out of stock and wouldn’t be in until September. They’re more than happy to sit on your money and tell you nothing.

What stunning service

What stunning service.
...Sunday night, went on the Moda website looking for outdoor furniture, had some questions and emailed moda. I had a reply from Nicole Lee within two minutes. She then answered a string of questions, gave really useful advice and concluded an order with us for table chairs and matching drinks cabinet so efficiently, politely and helpfully with clear delivery timescale and commitments.
Really impressed by the company's people and their attitude - they are passionate about their business, knowledgeable about their products and make you feel valued as a customer.
Wow!... what a great example of "customer facing service". The real deal.
