Model I purchased online had bits missing, and I didn't notice until I took the model out of the box to display two months later.

The owner refused to allow me to return the faulty item for a replacement because it was past 14 days since I purchased the model, which is against Consumer Rights Act 2015, which allows 6 months.

It’s actually unlawful to mislead customers
Displaying signs like “No refunds after 14 days” for faulty goods is against consumer protection law. The GOV.UK guidance makes it clear: statutory rights override store policies.
