This course is amazing. Absolutely love the step by step program that Lukas has setup for his students. I was struggling on learning how to sweep pick for a year and didn't know what I was doing wrong. A week later of practicing, my sweep picking technique changed over night. This guitar course is great for those who are ambitious guitars players who want to further their guitar playing. I want to thank Lukas again for creating MGC.

I'm still working my way through the course but I can already tell this was exactly what I have been looking for. If you're like me, having felt stuck in a rut for years and slogged through countless hours of YouTube videos trying to break through a plateau, then this course is exactly what you're looking for. It's like a road map for intermediate guitarist; giving you exactly what you need in order to improve and skipping all of the beginner stuff you likely already know. Its packed with content such as PDF cheat sheets, backing tracks, and Guitar Pro files that will let you practice the techniques at your own tempo. The guitar pro files are my favorite part because I'm not able to play all of the exercise at 100% (yet) and that, to me, is what makes the course worth it. Not being able to play them at full speed means this course is challenging and exactly what I need to be working on in order to improve. And speaking of the exercises, they are a delight to play! Each one has a heavy backing track underneath so you can actually hear where they'll be useful vs the same old bland pentatonic shapes to a click that most of us are probably used to. Lucas is also a great teacher. He's personable, knowledgeable, can actually play the stuff he's teaching you, and encouraging. Maybe most importantly of all, he's interactive (just look at all of his replys to the reviews here.) He'll periodically reach out to you 1on1 via social media to check on your progress so you can really tell he genuinely cares about this program and his students. One last thing, as others have mentioned, this is a challenging course. But as Lucas said in one of thr lessons "nobody else is going to do this for you" so as long as you out in the time, you WILL see results. I haven't been this excited or motivated to play guitar in a long time and this was just the spark I needed. Worth every penny I paid.

During the time I was trying to learn to play the guitar by myself, I created a lot of bad habits which lead to repetitive quitting and starting over again. Until Lukáš's course helped me not only to get rid of those habits but also to take my playing to the next level. Lukáš is an excellent guitar teacher and a mentor who can teach and explain everything perfectly. Worth it! Guitar exercises done right! No more scrambling through YT. Lukas is clear and concise, explains his techniques and why he does them so you can adapt it into your techniques, you'll be mind blown on your improvements. Challenging exercises that force you to be the best you can be. This is not an ideal course for guitarist's with less than 1-2 years experience but you'll definitely learn things that get you on a clear path. Lukas really cares about his students and is always happy to clear things up if needed.

I have been playing metal guitar for over 20 years quite seriously. I'm fully self-taught. This course has given me a lot of new punch to the playing & got me revisit the foundations of many essential techniques & concepts. Recommended!

This course is amazing! I learned more in a couple of months than I had in years of playing before. Lukas makes music theory much more digestible than anyone I've tried to learn from before. He also has designed technique drills that are fun and actually sound good instead if just chromatics that are boring and annoy the people you live with. Couldn't recommend this course enough!

MCG helped me a lot to get back to my old form and is helping me even to get better! As I'm writing this, I'm at the second module and can tell you I'm faster, more accurate and can better understand the scales, modes etc.. Lukas is a really nice guy, and encouraging as he explaines, as well as a damn good guitarist! There are playbacks, guitar rolls, exercises...

This guitar course is completely best. This is easy-to-understand guide on how to enter the world of modern guitar techniques. Illustrative methods, clearly structure, practical visualisation of music theory, fancy and cool form. The course contains very useful teaching materials for me and my students. I bought this course in 2 weeks, since i keeping myself to learn, the progress is obvious, the way to instruct is new ,which i found way more easy to understand, really excited to explore the rest of the course.

At first I was afraid this would be a scam, however, this is a fantastic course for guitarists that are stuck and looking to advance such as myself. It creates good habits and teaches theory at the same time. Moreover, Lukas is a fantastic and incredibly approachable and hard working guy.

I had been stuck for about 6 months, after starting MGC my speed immediately got faster, and I was inspired again to play. I was skeptical at first but this course is great.

I've been playing guitar since I was 9 years old and took lessons early on. This is my first time taking lessons in 26 years. I needed to get out of my rut. It's not easy, but it is comprehensive and has given me the spark to play more and now i'm looking at getting an 8 string so I can push my boundaries a bit.

If you are on the fence, give it a chance. Short of in person lessons, this is one of the better courses available for rock/metal.

I've been working through the course and, overall, I'm incredibly satisfied with Lukas, the materials, and the results. Here are some areas where I believe the course excels.

Lukas is readily available and clearly puts a lot of work into the course - he's also a genuinely enjoyable person to talk with. I've met with him via Zoom, talked via Instagram and interacted with his posts on Facebook. I also see him responding to questions in the lessons, which is incredibly helpful when you're working through the lessons.

It's been a little over a week since I started and I'm already seeing results in my playing. My hand synchronization and speed have improved noticeably just by following the plan Lukas put together for me.

The exercises are musical and enjoyable. You're not playing boring chromatic scales; you're playing scales that progressively get more challenging and sound good along the way. You can immediately incorporate them into your playing as well.

You can really tell that Lukas Kocka, is passionate in music and in his teaching, after just talking with him for 5 minutes. He really listens to you, what you want to learn, and what you are struggling with, and he always has a tip or a trick that will help you over the edge.

I have always struggled with guitar aspects such as melodies, scales and solo's but just after the first module and the few exercises I could already see and feel a difference in my playing, and I'm only 1/4 through th course.

If you really want to boost your guitar skills and learn from a really great guy, I definitely recommend this course 🤘

I have bought Lucas's course and I had a great experience so far. I still practicing the first 25% of the course, but already worth the money.
I improved significantly in very short time (in just 2 weeks) - I can play the guitar much faster, accurate and with more confidence.

Lukas is a fantastic teacher. The lessons are to-the-point and every exercise teaches you more than what you'd expect. That means there is a lot of thought behind them; it's not simply going through scales.
