I wanted to like this company

I wanted to like this company - super cute shoes and a decent price. I ordered two pairs of sandals. It took 6 weeks to receive them and they were size 10 - I ordered 8.5.
They would not take them back unless I paid for the postage and offered no apology etc. Bad business - scammers - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE!

Mollyca change to ZOEMISS!

I purchased a pair of boots months ago and they took forever for me to receive and once I got them they were VERY poorly made and I couldn't even get my foot in one. I had saved the Mollyca website on my desktop and today as I was clearing things off I clicked on it and these people apparently have changed their name to ZOEMISS...I just want to make everyone aware of this...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! It seems legit but it's not. It's a scam from China. My order wasn't arriving then I realized it was coming from China. My order arrived after 6-8 weeks. Quality was very poor. Not as pictured. The site says if not satisfied I would need to email them requesting a return address. I emailed them at least 27 times requesting return address!!!! They refused to send return address! So I told them I am sending the items back to the address on the package. They didn't dispute this. They will not refund me. I am out $320!!! BAD BUSINESS!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! I bought 2 pair of boots that took 2 months to receive. Finally when I did receive them I opened the “plastic” bag only to find the most cheaply made, stinky and ugly looking boots I’ve ever seen in my life!!! I immediately emailed the company to return and after waiting 15 days for a response the lady offered a 25% refund and for me to keep the boots. I told her I want a full refund and they pay to ship these back. They refused and now I’m stuck with 2 pair of boots that cost $110 and they are in a bag sitting in my garage. Terrible company and terrible customer service!! I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing from this company!! I’m reporting to BBB as well.

The Good, The Bad, The Cute

The Good, The Bad, The Cute. The “bad” was it took too long and the boots didn’t look as well made as I thought they would. However, the good is they were warm. Surprisingly my feet didn’t get wet in the snow as I cleaned my car off and the doggone things held up nicely! I get compliments all the time on these boots. Super cute!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They sent the wrong products and wanted me to pay for return shipping and wouldn’t refund me my full price. After back and forth emails for 3 months I had no choice but to accept only a lousy 25% of the purchase price refunded. The worst customer service and company. Ohhhhhh and the products are not what is pictured on their website. The products are very cheaply made. I should have done my research prior to buying anything from this company! Learn from my mistake !

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR USE CAPITAL ONE

These people are thieves. I purchased what was supposed to be a warm fall coat and a shirt. The warm fall coat turned out to be a flimsy piece of crap with teddy bear fur.

When I tried to return the items per their return policy by requesting an address to send the items to, they replied 15 days later asking me to send pictures and explain why the items were not sufficient. I replied back saying I am not required to take pictures and to send me the address for the return. When I didn't get a response I sent another email that bounced back and said the email address no longer existed. Almost $90 down the drain for two pieces of garbage.

THAT ISN'T EVEN THE WORST PART. I DISPUTED THE CHARGE WITH CAPITAL ONE WHO SIDED WITH THE MERCHANT. The merchant sent them faxed pictures of the product pages that were not even readable and Capital One accepted that as proof of a valid transaction. I sent printouts of everything, photos of the bogus merchandise and a timeline of my communications with the merchant and still they sided with Mollyca stating that MC regulations require that I get "a second opinion on company letterhead from another merchant in the same field stating specifically what the original merchant did incorrectly, how the problem can be corrected, and what that will cost." WHAT?!

I am still traumatized by how little Capital One valued me as a customer over some thieving company in China. Needless to say their card is no longer in my wallet and I suggest you do the same or be victimized twice.

Ordered shoes---the size was not…

Ordered shoes---the size was not standard (I wear size 8 in American shoes). The shoe was poorly made and did not look like the advertised picture. It took over three weeks to arrive. Company response time was slow. I do not recommend using this company--its a scam.

WRONG FABRIC ON BLOUSE ! THEY WON'T ALLOW RETURN !

I ordered a blouse in late 2018. I wrote MollyCA that they sent the wrong blouse: It was similar to the one that I ordered, but not the fabric depicted in their picture ! I wrote them 3 months ago about this error. I asked them to provide me with AN ADDRESS IN THE U.S. to which I could return the blouse so that they could refund my $. They are offering to refund 25% and let me keep the blouse !? I don't want the blouse ! It's not what I ordered ! And they won't give me a U.S. address to which I can return the item ! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM ! THEY DO NOT PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE !

I would not recommend this shoe company to anyone! Buyer beware this company has subpar shoes and boots! They are coming from China and took 76 days for me to receive my order. When it arrived the loafers were poorly stitched and puckered. The boots did not have the heel sanded or stained. They did not give me a refund but tried to give me 15% off my next order which will never happen! Don’t order from this company if your a shoe lover because you’ll be disappointed. 😞💩

Mollyca is now called ZoeMiss - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.
They show you all these cute styles of clothing and shoes which you can buy for cheap. The quality of the fabric and materials they use are horrible. The sizing does not mirror sizing in the US. You will not be able to get in touch for the address to return the items. The goal is to delay responding until 30 days is up. This is a Chinese company copying designer clothing (as everyone knows, what they do best is steal other people's ideas). They are in
business to rip you off. I will NEVER buy anything from any company remotely related to China or Hong Kong. Free markets and international trading are fine but companies built in the USA should not be allowing the international rip off artists from doing business here. You have to be careful because oftentimes, a product will ship from somewhere in the US but then if you dig a little further, the product is made in China or Hong Kong.

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware! Products ship directly from China and are not as expected. I ordered boots that were to be Vintage Leather. They are plastic and stink like it, and were shipped in plastic bag with no return address. I ordered November 2018, Canceled January 5th asking for full refund. I received January 7th and the company has tried offering me a 15% refund and offered for me to keep their inferior merchandise instead of returning. Their reason is that it would be very expensive to return! Still have not settled, now they are off for a 5-7 local festival. You can't make this up!!! I submitted a complaint to the BBB but because this is in China, the complaint was forwarded to econsumer.gov. What recourse does one have? Again, BUYER BEWARE.

Lodge a claim with Paypal and get a refund

It appears that everyone has experienced the same issues with this dodgy company. I was fortunate enough to have received a full refund including the shipping for costs for returning the items. I'll try and explain below what I did and hopefully that may help someone else in the same boat as I was.

After about 2 weeks of dealing unsuccessfully with the vendor, I filed a claim with Paypal and dealt exclusively with Paypal. I explained in thorough detail what had happened and attached links to the dodgy items advertised on Mollyca's website. After a week, they sent me Mollyca's address for returns, which is:

They requested that I return the items within three business days and send through the tracking information. They mentioned that once they confirm delivery that a refund will be approved. I printed labels with the address exactly as Paypal provided (in Chinese characters) and affixed it on the return package. Since I can't write Chinese I used the alphanumeric address information for the Customs label that goes on the package. Once I sent the package and sent Paypal the tracking info, I put through a request for a Refund on the Cost of Returns. Paypal allow you to request refund for up to 3 packages per transaction with a cap of $AUD45 per package. I returned my order in three separate packages. 2 packages cost $AUD45 each to send and 1 package cost $AUD33.10. 6 business days later I received an approval email from Paypal approving the refund for shipping. The refund was only approved when they received the items back and Australia Post through their tracking history was able to verify that the items were delivered.

A couple of days after this I received another email from Paypal requesting that I obtain an expert's report that the items are not adequate and not as advertised. I wrote back saying that I already sent the items back and could not provide an expert's report. I also mentioned I had already been approved for a refund on the proviso that the items were returned and received. Luckily, I took a whole bunch of photos of the crappy items and I was able to put photos side by side with those on Mollyca's website and how different they are. I also attached a link to Trustpilot.com and they could see all the comments about Mollyca.

A day later, they approved a full refund. It took 1 month for items to arrive to me from Mollyca, 2 weeks dealing with Mollyca via email and about 5-6 weeks dealing with Paypal. It does take a long time and you do need a lot of patience, but I was hellbent on not wanting to give any money to Mollyca.

One thing to note, try to document everything with photos. Take photos of the crappy products, the package with the labels, the receipt from the post office when you return the items, photos of the items before they are sent back and in bubble wrap. Just try to cover all your bases.

I also lodged a complaint with Shopify which is their e-commerce platform and they added it into their system.

Hopefully those who have been impacted by this scam of a company can get their money back from either Paypal or their credit card company.

Happy with product

I really like the shirt I purchased...true to the photo...I had realistic expectations. As a matter of fact, I'm inclined to order another one in a different color. The only thing I will say is that is took a solid month to receive it. The original email confirming purchase had a really odd link to tracking which didn't work. And repeatedly, it didn't work. At that point, I did wonder whether or not I'd been duped. I emailed for update information and received a lovely email back assuring me my order had been processed. I think maybe Mollyca could be a little more proactive with customers in terms of how long it takes between time of purchase and receiving product. That would probably be a helpful step. Other than that I'm pleased with my new shirt!

I had ordered 2 pairs of boots that took months to receive and they finally arrive, they were wrapped in clear sticky package tape in a flimsy shipping bag. They smelled like fake plastic or rubber, very cheap quality and not what the picture displayed to be. I was really disappointed. :(
No Return info either, wasted space. IN the trash!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 pairs of boots and they took forever to come and when I got then they were just a cheap imitation of the picture in the site and neither were the right size that I ordered. The website says you have to email them to get a return address but they refused to respond to emails over and over. When they finally responded they still didn’t give an address. I filed a dispute with PayPal to get my $98 back and I finally got a second response which still didn’t include a return address and just said “will you keep and sell to friend and we will give you discount on next purchase.” PayPal was able to get me a return address but shipping was $70 to get the package back to China so it wasn’t even worth it. Now I’m out $98 and I’m stuck with cheap crappy boots that don’t fit and are so crappy I can’t even sell them. I’m so angry!! Don’t waste your money!!!
