I've been using Mondial care for all my Schengen visa applications. I like how the customer support is very responsive all my questions and requests. Kudos to Samira! I have been subscribing for EU travel insurance with Mondial for 3 years now and about 8 persons in total for a 3 month contract. Taking out a policy was straightforward. I had a chance to claim for some emergency room bills and after uploading everything on their website, I got the reimbursement on my Paypal account. I was surprised it was that straight forward. I will continue to be a future customer.

Worldwide Travel Insurance for the elderly
Mondialcare was one of the few insurers that was prepared to offer world-wide travel insurance to an 80-year old living in the EU. Their rates were very competitive. The terms and conditions, the online application and online payment were easy to follow. Highly recommended.

The policy you have taken out includes a deductible of 50 euros for medical expenses. This is why your first claim was refused, as the total amount was less than 50 euros. The second claim was processed without deductible because it concerned emergency dental expenses. We do not understand your comment as we processed your claim in due time. We are available during working hours by telephone and whatsapp from Monday to Friday. Claims via e-mails may take some time to be answered due to the high volume of requests.

It took 6 months to get credit for the medical expenses we had on our trip. And we only had a small expense of under $80

A claim file was opened at the end of August for your medical expenses dating from the end of May to the beginning of June, it is clearly written on your Mondialcare insurance certificate that the customer must make a claim via their personal mondialcare space with the medical report, any medical analysis and all invoices.
Your comment is quite shocking as we have repeatedly told you that we need the medical report to proceed. However, on a commercial basis, we accepted all your medication invoices as they clearly indicated fever medication. There is a deductible of €50 per person according to the contract you have taken out, and we only applied it once in your case, whereas we should have applied it twice, since two people were ill according to your declaration. It is quite shocking that you show no gratitude when we have done our best to serve you.
