I lost over $6,000 to Monetio overnight! For a while, I thought all online investment companies were the same. Then I found Aspicorn, and what stood out was the honesty - walked me through their process, explained risks clearly, and didn't pressure to invest right away. That alone made them different.

Official Complaint: Conduct of my Monetio Success Managers (SMs), in the delivery of an agreed deal to remove future Trading Volume (TV) targets and provide full access to any funds within my account, on successful completion by the client by the agreed deadline. The client was required to meet a Trading Volume Target of $500,000 within a month of $10,000 being deposited within the account.

As can be seem the only TV figure provided by the SMs after the deadline date (29/11/24) was 521,948,000. After the 11th December 24, there were only 9 trading days where I could have traded before I stopped trading on the 24th December 24. After the 11th Dec trading had more-or-less ceased as the client’s account was paralysed within a massive hedge on buy and sell positions on Natural Gas. The account had a minimal margin and effectively could not trade. So between 12th and 24th of December trading fell by over 97% compared to the deadline period and TVs generated would have been no more than $2m. For the same reason detailed above TVs were minimal between 3rd December and the 11th December 24.
I put in a complaint in via the Service Desk. During the course of that complaint, Monetio provided total TVs on the 16th January 25, which were $1,095,000,000. That’s a difference of $573,900,000 compared to the 11th November figure provided by the SMs. As it would be impossible to achieve that TV between 3rd December and the 24th December 24, it means that the SMs had provided false/ understated TV data to their client on within the deliberate intention to make appear as though the client had not reached the $500k TV target within the agreement and to receive $10,000 from the client under false pretences.
There is compelling evidence from the way the SMs operated during the deadline period (1 month) to support this scenario, namely;
The SMs, as per written Agreement were required to provide to the client daily TV figures during the contract target period – only received 8 during the contract period out of a potential 23, as was agreed (65% less TV figures than agreed – see table above)
The client was informed via WhatsApp on Monday 3rd Dec (1 day after deadline date) that he had reached the target. If the client had not reached the target by the deadline, this would have been the most appropriate time to let the client know. The SMs again failed to provide the TV data requested on the same day. The next TV figure was provided on the 11th Dec and showed 521,980 TVs (21,948,000 over the target).
The client had a balance of $600,000 around the end of November, so the SMs could have easily called the client and said you only need to place another trade for x in Natural Gas and would have met the target. That is clear evidence that the SMs were working against the client’s interest.
In July 25 one of the SMs showed me how to find out what the trading volume was for each trade, using the platform. They deliberately withheld this critical information during the deadline period 29th October to the 29th November 24.
The way the SMs operated, was premeditated and planned to make it look like the target might not have been reached, to ensure the client could not access his money. The whole scam was only uncovered when Monetio inadvertently provided trading volume data, that showed the client had done $573,900 more TVs by the 24th December than the $521,980 reported on the 11th December. The SMs knew their client had smashed the target, but they didn’t have to worry about that, as the client would never find out. But he did.
All the evidence above describes all the tools and means used by the SMs to ensure the client could not monitor his progress in achieving the target of $500k, challenge data anomalies or know what he needed to do to get over the target number. they completely failed in their duty of care to their client by providing zero support and minimal/false TV figures, at the most crucial time (none provided in the last 5 days before the target period expired).
All aspects of this case reveal unacceptable levels of corruption, deceit, falsification of data, lack of integrity, complete disregard for any standards, deliberate withholding of critical information with the intent to defraud the client.
The client has raised an official complaint to Service Support (ticket 1859659180 – 2nd August 25) but has not have any feedback to date.

I was guided by Heath, who convinced me to invest some of my small savings with Monetio, promising excellent monthly interest and walking me through the process. As a total newbie, I thought I was making a sensible decision for a more financially secure future.

Instead, it turned out to be a trap they stopped payments and left me with nothing. Thankfully, I was able to get my funds back with the help of a reputable firm. If you’re considering Monetio, stay away, and if you’ve already lost money, know that it is possible to get it back.

First investement £250, then £5k. Yes i was making good profits but then ........

Asked to withdraw some as I had over £30k. This kept being turned down, week after week for months. I spoke to the chap who was teaching me, he said pur a reqest in and I will make sure it goes through. That was my last contact with him.

I have been involved with this company for just over a year. During that time, I have transferred well over half a million pounds to them, all of which is inaccessible to me, and the company is now ghosting me. I implore you to avoid this company. If, like me, you have had losses, and they ask you to invest more money, do not do it. You will be throwing good money after bad. They are smooth operators, and so believable! I was taken in. I now face a very different financial future to the one I had before I got involved with this unregulated, unscrupulous outfit. Please steer well clear.

There has been no attempt by Monetio to contact me, and my requests for a call back have been completely ignored. Meanwhile my money is inaccessible to me, and I am offered no explanation for this.

Once you invest £250 you get hundreds of calls of potential scammers who computer generate phone numbers from innocent people. Murky and little trust in most of these companies. By the way since i went overseas to work as a volunteer they have somehow taken the £250. So if you are genuine return the £250 on the same creditcard that i gave you in May 24

Watch out for this scam website, once u make an account and start trading, and u want whitedrawal, when u pay they want tax, u Will never whitedraw youre money, and get only scammed for more and more money.

Because of the excellent service that Good merit, provided, I never once believe that there is another broker out there that is superior to them.
