Id taken a loan out for £20k not that long ago over 5 years. Balance was around £18,500 when I chosen to clear the Balance on the account, I'd phone them to say I was waiting on some funds to hit my account before I pay it off on the given date, given lots of notice, I was a few days over the due date to when the payment was due out, I'd spoken to an adviser on the phone who was rude and used the line this will affect your credit score unless you pay today, given 48 hours later id cleared the £18,500 loan, rude as in asking where the funds are coming from, their customer service has a lot to be desired for, APR over the top and ripping people off, and id never use them again for any of their services or products. On the positive side I made over £11k from from the loan, if you were not so greedy on the APR and rude I would of used you for further borrowing. Take a good look around as there are better lenders, with better APR.
