Placed an order and the returns portal didnt work, got intoch via instagram, spoke to someone competent and was all sorted and refunded within 5 days , ordered again same thing with returns portal, again sent back via royal mail the next person i spike to was utter rubbish , 16 days on still waiting for a refund and ive sent proof of postage they received it the day after i sent it back! Never again will i order from there!!!

Amazing service ordered on the 23rd of December in the evening via standard service for new year, came Christmas eve morning just 12 hours from ordering and the quality is great! Will definitely order again!

Can’t fault monterrain !!! made a £500 order over 2 week ago was stuck at Evri for 10days !!! considered a missing parcel got intouch with monterrain explaining it was a christmas present they shipped a new order out with DPD and arrived today 24th december thank you so so much !!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Order came fine, wrapped up for nephew for Christmas, when he opened (we visit early as we live hours away) the cheap lettering wasn't correct, it was missing the N. Made contact with customer services via the online chat which wasn't too painful and they arranged a return. I returned same day and since then, crickets. The live chat isn't connecting, you sit there for ages waiting for them and then it disconnects/reconnects and noone comes to answer. I've no present for my nephew for Christmas and no sign of the money either. Looking at the other reviews I won't be holding my breath. Will never use again

Order some cargo and t shirt order came no issues but i notice the zipper broke on the cargo sent it back contacted them 2 weeks later customer services were really rude saying there which is understandable 3 werks now still no refund customer servies said we already spoke to youll be refunded in due course the is company is a joke as soon as they get your money dont want to return it when issues with the clothing i wont ever be using this brand again 0 stars for everything just be aware when ordering anything from them

I ordered a tracksuit for my son's birthday about 3 weeks ago, delivery was meant to be 2-3 days. The parcel has gone missing, monterrain is not answering any of my emails, and their lives chat is an absolute JOKE !! I want my money back NOW !!

Ordered nearly four weeks ago and the whole experience has been a disaster. The parcel (of course) got stuck with Evri, and I had to chase Monterrain repeatedly via email and social media just to get a reply. I agreed to a replacement that never arrived, then agreed to a refund of £122…I’ve only received £48.
Terrible communication and unacceptable service. I just wanted the clothes for my son for Christmas, not weeks of stress and chasing.

Spent £600 on clothes, told them not to use evri as they leave the items at the bottom of my stair, they told me they don't do special delivery or anything like this, and surprise my package went missing, after contacting them they agreed the driver had left it at the bottom of the stair and not my actual door, and told me I would be refunded, it's been 14 days now and supposedly it's still being reviewed, wouldn't waste my time buying from here again, save the hassle and just go elsewhere, wish I checked these reviews before committing, unfortunate because the clothes look really nice

Initial purchase went without a hitch. Returned a couple of items for size exchange 10days ago but no notification it's been received. Emailed a few times with them saying when it's received in warehouse the new items will be sent. Surely they have been recieved by now and I should atleast have notification that they're sending the replacements?
Edit. Issue was resolved. No communication though!! The advisors emails were polite but unhelpful. Refunded instead of exchanged without communication as to why and on the very last day of the 14 days. Would order again but not if im in a rush or unsure on sizes. Would prefer to shop in store or via the footasylum website itself. I did order at a busy time of year so I'll give them a break.

I ordered an item for my sons birthday, this was not delivered, I contacted customer services (with difficulty), they assured me another item would be sent next day delivery, again this did not arrive, I contacted for a 3rd parcel to be sent, again the third item was not sent!!! I contacted yet again, they informed me they were refunding me as they had ran out of stock. Not even an apology was given. 2 weeks later and still no refund!! Avoid this company at all costs!!

If I could give 0 star I would, all you need to do is look at the reviews here to know this company is shocking, package arrived with the wrong item they are saying they checked cctv in warehouse and the correct item was sent, that’s a cool story but doesn't explain how I received a clearly used hoodie. They fail to see it’s their responsibility to ensure I get what I ordered they have not supported me in any way and I’m out of pocket £160 customer service is non existent please don’t be like me and order from them much better and supportive options out there. Customer service representatives must be embarrassed about the emails they send offer no help what so ever and fail to provide any evidence that they apparently have after their non existent internal review. Joke of a company with terrible customer service greedy horrible company
Awful experience - sent wrong item and refusing to take responsibility.
I am absolutely furious and deeply disappointed with Monterrain. I spent £150 on a jacket I was really looking forward to, and what arrived was not what I ordered. I sent photos and explained everything clearly, but the customer service team has been completely unhelpful and dismissive, insisting they sent the right item when they clearly did not.
It’s shocking that a company like this refuses to take responsibility for their mistake. I feel completely let down, ignored, and out of pocket for something that isn’t even my fault. I trusted Monterrain as a reputable brand, but this experience has shown me they have zero accountability and no interest in actually helping their customers when something goes wrong.
Save yourself the stress — if something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect Monterrain to care or fix it. Absolutely disgraceful service

Just don't even bother with this company. Paid for next day delivery. 5 days later no items. Numerous back n forth auto bot emails and eventually contacted bank for refund. As the other reviews state. Don't bother. It's a nightmare
I own quite a bit of Monterrain stuff
I own quite a bit of Monterrain stuff. I usually buy it in the sale, so it’s good value, it looks good, and the fit is perfect for me. I have no feedback on the website as I buy it in store. It washes well, just make sure you put it inside out and on a gentle cycle. I must have every colour in the t-shirts, some 3/4 zip’s, shorts, and windbreakers. Some of the designs are a bit busy, I prefer the plain stuff with the subtle logo personally.
For those that don’t know it’s Footasylums own brand. A rival of similar brands like Montirex and Reprimo with a name inspired by the other Mont brands (meaning Mountain in French). Montaine, Montbell, Moncler, Montura etc. Unlike those brands though, Monterrain is not a performance wear brand, nor is it suitable for mountain exploration. You’ll be alright wearing it around the Lake District in the warmer months, but please don’t think it will protect you climbing any serious peaks, or in freezing conditions.
If you want proper technical and performance clothing look elsewhere, but if you’re after affordable, nice looking, well fitted clothes for casual wear, light hiking or wearing to the gym - it ticks the boxes. Hope that helps.
