This was our first sailing trip to the BVI's, our first time on a cat and our first time using a Moorings skipper. Full-on sailing in 20-30knt winds was an unexpected pleasure but very glad we had the support of J-P our skipper who was excellent. A skipper not only makes life on board more fun but he recommended the appropriate places to visit and eat. In summary, an awesome trip.

This was our first charter to the Exumas, and it exceeded expectations. The boat was well prepared, clean and apart from a few minor things (needing an extra winch handle, floor mats) that were handled by the staff, it was in sail away condition. Charter briefings (boat and cruising area) were thorough and knowledgeable.

The water maker didn't work (but this is a delicate machine and not guaranteed). We filled up with water at Staniel Cay which has an easily accessible fuel dock.

Warderick Wells, the Aquarium, Stroud Cay, Staniel Cay are all beautiful and different. All in all, a great experience that included a good deal of sailing.

This was our second Moorings yacht charter and I could not recommend them more highly. Our 4500 catamaran was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable.

Our Skipper Aubrey was brilliant and made sure to customise the perfect itinerary to show us the best of the Seychelles, whilst maximising good weather opportunities for each of the locations we visited during the week.

The pre-departure process was smooth and easy, and our check in and check out at the office was efficient.

We are already planning our next Moorings trip and can't wait for it!

Best. Vacation. Ever. We had a Captain and the catamaran in the BVI’s. Everything worked perfectly, our Captain (Matthew) was so knowledgeable and really made it the perfect trip. He was open to our ideas while pointing out any safety things to consider. Cannot wait to come back and do it again!

We had a lovely Catamaran with great facilities. Sailed from St Lucia to Grenada with various overnight stops on the way. Water maker was a great advantage. Only one complaint, upon boat familiarisation we identified no dingy anchor on board, was advised that would be addressed. Ultimately we left base without one, issue was not followed through, we should have double checked before departure, but didn’t expect that to be forgotten by dock crew.

The Moorings provided an excellent catamaran and we had a great time sailing the BVIs

This was our first full week charter out of Antigua to Guadelope and The Saints having previously enjoyed several day charters. Britiney and her team in Antigua are the best. The 47 ft catamaran was perfect. Very spacious for five of us with a great layout offering seating in three locations. It was clean and well equipped with everything you'd need to prepare and cook simple meals. The best thing about the trip was our excellent skipper Kishawn Harrigan. You won't find anyone as experienced and knowledgable in the Caribbean waters. He found us the perfect spots to moor each evening and ensured that we all got the most from our trip whether it was finding and dropping us at the top snorkelling locations or getting out at the best times of the day for the winds and a good sail. He also sorted out a nasty issue with a blockage in the heads which may well have been from a previous charter, with good humour.
Thanks very much Britiney and Kishawn. We will be back for more adventures. The only area for improvement is the pre trip information loading requested by The Moorings. All done online and rather cumbersome and problematic. This could be improved.

The catamaran was super, beautiful inside and out, very clean and comfortable and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday around St. Martin and Anguilla. The staff that took care of us were excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and excellent at their jobs.

The catamaran was in pristine condition and remarkably spacious, providing a comfortable setting for our journey. Our captain was highly attentive, demonstrating expert knowledge of the islands and ensuring our safety and enjoyment. The cook was truly exceptional, preparing meals that surpassed the quality of those at any hotel we visited. Overall, our experience was flawless, marked by outstanding service and amenities throughout.

We had possibly the best holiday ever. The staff at Maureen‘s were fantastic right from the original enquiry through to dropping our boat back at the end of our weeks fantastic holiday.

A week sailing round Croatia wasn’t enough. We will be back for two weeks next year. Just simply the best time.

This is our 8th sail with Moorings/Sunsail; 5th in st. Lucia-Grenadines. I’ll start with dislikes - we reserved & paid extra for a new sailboat to eliminate risks of breakdowns. Unfortunately, although the engines had only 70 hours, the rest of the boat was not worth the extra cost. Very. Very disappointed in this. Ceilings of 2 cabins fell in; jib furler broke on day #2 depriving us of its use entirely; first reef line of mainsail did not go thru the kringle in the luff; a kitchen shelf was not attached so unusable in heavy waves; anchor light on masthead did not work.
While base staff was friendly and seemed competent, they were unfortunately out of reach pre-trip for communications (3 emails and 3 phone calls never answered), delayed our start by 2.5 hours while searching for items to complete our boat list (eg locks for dinghy, dive flag, a dock line), and could not be hailed on channel 16 for docking assistance (as directed to do) upon return to base - had to make 2 international calls to reach them.
Very disappointed in the quality of service and communication with this trip.

On the other hand, George at St. Lucia was excellent and did all he could to help us.

We had a fantastic experience with Captain Cosy and Chef Jan on our recent sail! The boat was amazing, perfectly clean all the time. The Captain guided us on a fantastic trip with the perfect complement of relaxation and adventure. And Jan's cooking was amazing!! No need to go to any island restaurants - you won't get anything better. They took in all our requests for drink and food, and really to sum it up, this trip was perfect! I look forward to sailing again, and hopefully with Captain Cosy and Chef Jan!!

Best vacation ever. Although the Moorings can't take credit for the perfect weather, the boat was pristine, the staff patiently explained how it all worked, and had anticipated everything.

My daughter was lucky enough to win a Mooring Competition to win 6 nights on a luxury motor cruiser in the British Virgin Islands. The boat was pure luxury with paddleboards, snorkelling equipment, BBQ, oven and comfy beds. We decided to have a skipper/Captain and I am so glad we did. Our Captain Kevin Jamba Chinnery was so knowledgeable, handled the boat with perfection, made sure we were all safe at all times, took us to some fantastic places, the indians, the baths, Willy Ts, the caves, Anagarda, Jost Van Dike (had to change it as it used inappropriate language) to name a few. He sorted out all the moorings for us and booked us in the all our meals. Whoever is lucky enough to have him captain your boat you will not be disappointed.

Bethany and her team provided a 5 * service at their English Harbour base in Antigua.

Jerome briefed us efficiently and effectively, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Lots of help and assistance at every stage.

Travis the Base manager at Abaco / Marsh Harbour was excellent. He gave us a helpful area briefing. All the staff at the base were cheerful & helpful

Great boat, great cruising area and nice weather. There were some issues with the boat electrical system which were resolved by the moorings technical staff.
The base staff were very helpful, cheerful and contactable. Very good area briefing from the base manager.
