The worst company ever

One of the worst customer experience I have ever had. I will never buy from this company again. 4 months to wait for $9k worth of furniture to come in and then they tell me that I need to wait another 3 weeks for it to be delivered from their local warehouse.

This is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with. Buyer beware. They sell you a completely useless furniture care plan and then deliver damaged furniture. They refuse to come pick up the furniture. They admit it’s damaged but sorry no return policy. They want you to get something else from their store. No, I don’t want any of the crappy stuff. The delivery guys were very hard on the furniture in my house. A dresser I have was damaged. The nightmare goes on and on.

After purchasing and wait over 2…

After purchasing and wait over 2 months. I decided to pick the furniture up and save that fee - as soon as the furniture left the warehouse I took possession and it is now mine. They have a no refund return policy (which I was unaware of and didn't read the fine print, wasn't particularly brought up too me either) I get home and it's not what I ordered completely. I mixed the recliner colors up when I scheduled the order for some splash. When I open at home all the same color and now since I took them home and it is now mine and is against they're policy for return.

Go figure I get home and it doesn't fit and look exactly. I attempted to call in but that doesn't exist, and so was explained at the store they have a no return policy. Say goodbye $2400 for a couch and recliner that was wrong to begin with and then no returns. Doesn't hurt my feelings at all to not do business with them again. I have spent close to $10000 over the life of doing business with them. See ya...

If I could give Mor Furniture less than…

If I could give Mor Furniture less than one star I would. Not only is the majority of our furniture falling apart after just over a year but we bought the extended warranty and it turns out to be less than useful. We had to call for some damage and with COVID we had a hard time getting a hold of anyone there and when we finally did we reported damage on three items and since we reported all of the damage at once we were told by a VERY condescending man named Matthew Phillips that the claim was denied simply because we reported it all at once!! I highly suggest you shop ANYWHERE but Mor Furniture if you want any type of quality and customer service.

Avoid these for peace of mind.

Bought a sectional sofa in Dec 2020 and ETA for delivery was given as Feb 18th. With no intimation or updates I called to check delivery status and was told delayed until March. After agreeing for part delivery now the status has changed to May for remaining parts of sofa. Sad and with an average product I would totally avoid these unprofessional business.

I bought a bedroom set 1 months ago and…

I bought a bedroom set 1 months ago and the dresser came damaged. I called to have it replaced and they brought three other dressers out and every last one of those were damaged and let me remind you that was three separate trips. I went back to the store and spoke with the store manager each time and he assured me on 3rd delivery my dresser would be checked out before delivered and Of course it was not. The delivery driver told me that they tell us that but is not checked out.... Delivery service is horrible they do not take care nor do they care about the merchandise before it reaches your home. I will never buy anything else from Mor Furniture. Worst service ever! Let me not forget delivery service fees are outrageous. Delivery is based on what you spend. I spent over $3,000 so my delivery free was 300 +. That was ridiculous. They do not explain to you how much their delivery fees are, nor do they explain the miscellaneous fees. I am so upset with this company. I also spoke with synchrony Bank who qualify me for their credit card. My advice to anyone is to avoid that store. By the way the store manager was nice but nasty. He also had the nerve to ask me to let them bring another dresser out and also if I wasn't happy to look and find something else..... also today they came to pick up the entire bedroom set including the lamps. They were supposed to call me an hour before pick up and of course they call me 10 minutes prior. I told him I was at work and if he could wait 30 minutes he said no and there wasn't a note specifying that he was to call me an hour before. I told him will he needs to call more he told me he does not work for Mor. I was so upset but their contract it out. Also when they came to look at my furniture they told me they could Patch It Up! I was Furious! I told him I did not spend $3,000 for you to patch up anything for me. The guy that came out till me if I return the dresser it will be taken out of the delivery person fee and he didn't want that to happen, What nerves. I can go on and on and on but all I can say is go elsewhere

I purchased 2 easy chairs 2 years ago & they're falling apart.

I purchased 2 easy chairs 2 years ago and they're falling apart because they're poorly constructed and lean to one side. Their sales people are good because they work on commission so their livelihood depends on your purchase(s). Due to the poor construction of the chairs, I would never buy from them again and advise to people check for quality.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We ordered our sofa loveseat weeks ago to be delivered this week. They called us and said it was 2 weeks back ordered. Now they emailed me and said they were 3 months out. They take your money and lie about the delivery date so you would buy their furniture knowing it will take months and months to receive your furniture, meanwhile they are still collecting interest on the money you paid for an item that will take months to receive

Company advertised no interest...Buyer Beware

Company advertised no interest for 4 years. As soon as I had an acct number I started making monthly payments and didn’t miss a month until Sept 2020 when I was told a manager would call me. I waited and called back each week and was on hold for hours.... literally hours trying to clear up issues. I paid off the furniture amount in Oct 2020 and company then charged hundreds of dollars in late fees $348 NOT INTEREST... late fees ... though I went years without a bill telling me what day payment was due. Don’t trust the advertising of this company... though they say they aren’t going to charge interest for years they find a way to get extra money and ruin your credit. I tried multiple times to get in contact with company.

Worst furniture you can buy

Worst furniture you can buy. In just a few months, breakfast table is shaking and unstable and sofa is sagging such that it’s impossible to even sit on it comfortably. Don’t waste your money on this store.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever! Table came damaged and is cheap! Chairs are ugly and you can see padding. Wrong bed came, and the other couch already caved in. No one ever fixes anything, horrible customer service and when they tried to fix one of two chairs. They took one and it came back 4 months later looking the same lol. Should be called Less Furniture

We ordered a bedroom set three weeks…

We ordered a bedroom set three weeks ago and was told it would be here July 14 given that we sold our current bedroom set with dressers and everything and put our clothes in bags expecting our furniture. No calls no communication nothing for more on delivery date I emailed customer service and the first email said your delivery date is set for 714 then she emails back and said bedrails are on delay delivery not till August I told them deliver what you have which is the dressers and all of that so we can at least put our clothes away no response from them no communication whatsoever you can’t call them they don’t respond to emails I will never buy from them again. Of course when you go into the stores their sales people are all happy and very attentive and promised delivery dates which are always not accurate and you wait months it has been the worst customer service experience ever that I’ve ever experienced in my 51 years of any company I don’t know how they stay in business I am not paying delivery fee due to the miss information and negligence of delivery dates they just want to sell no matter what they tell you

DOUBLE YOUR MONEY GUARENTEE DOES NOT HAPPEN,
NOT ALL REFUNDS OCURR.
At Mor Furniture For Less I wrote 2 letters to owner Richard Haux about problems and sur-charges I felt were unfair. He did not make contact with me at all. We made two purchases at the San Marcos showroom, a sofa sectional and a Tempur-pedic bed both totaling approx. $7000.My letter was passed onto Matt Askins, regional manager.

My husband and I met with Mr. Askins and discussed several problems. 1) An upsetting conversation with San Marcos store manager Barry who made promises to look into our issues and did NOTHING. 2) 'Premium Service' fees ($350) on contract which was explained as a "show for delivery payment for deliverymen do not work for free." Even though you are supposed to receive "free delivery" on all purchases over $1000. 3) Problems with a Tempur-pedic bed exchange and "free gifts" we paid for. Tempur-pedic told us they would have handled the gifts and the exchange differently simply to keep us as repeat customers. The exchange fee we had to pay due to the wrong mattress ordered by our salesman. 4) "Double Your Money" when you can find the same item elsewhere for less (that amount times two) can be obtained for in store purchases only.

After a long discussion with Mr. Askins he proceeded set up a computerized refund, 1) $150 out of $350 'Premium Service' fee making it clear that we did not pay for delivery. Even though he, plus 2 other managers and our salesman could only explain the Premium Service fee is to show delivery payment. 2) $199 refund for one of the two free gifts Tempur-pedic offers, we paid for. 3) $172. exchange fee Tempur-pedic charges when you are unhappy with your original purchase you get to make an exchange. Our problem was that our salesman ordered the wrong mattress. Tempur-pedic told us they would have waived the exchange fee to make the exchange free of charge due to the error. They also have a huge list of FREE gifts that Mor will only allow two, they pick.4) The 'DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACK GUARENTEE' only works if the other store "posts a sign" stating their "less money price percentage" on their Tempur-pedic beds. WE DID NOT GET TO RECEIVE THIS GUARENTEE. This post exception is not stated on the Mor website. We did not get to have this and when we found at JC Penney's the bed for 5% less ($271) for a Mor credit of $542 towards a store purchase never happened.

We are grateful to received $349 for the first two issues thank you very much. BUT NOT THE SECOND PROMISED REFUND. I made a call to Mr. Askins about this and mentioned that I also paid for second free Tempur-pedic gift and would he refund that gift of $89. He said "No, that I actually owed him money." We never received the $172 promised refund, I guess that rude Mr. Askins was going to make me pay the money I owed him, after all. I wrote the second letter to owner Mr. Haux about the missing refund and asked "why did I not get take advantage of the Double your Money guarantee?" Two weeks later I have had no response from anyone. Mr. Askins is a LIAR and did not give me my fully promised refunds. Review your contract, you will see the charges for the free Tempur-pedic gifts and 'Premium Service', guised as a show for delivery payment they clearly do not pay for themselves. The remaining Premium Service fee of $200, second free gift fee $89, The promised return exchange fee $172 and the Money Back Guarantee $542 all total to $1003 I feel the Mor took advantage of us greatly.

Our lovely sofa sectional is already showing wear in just five months, it is cheap material no thank you Mor. The Tempur-pedic bed is great, thank you Tempur-pedic. Mor Furniture For Less charges you MORE. Check your contracts and get refunds for their lies e.g. Premium Service and Free gift fees. BUYER BEWARE!!! Mor Furniture For Less pretends to give 'free' delivery and Tempur-pedic gifts then charges you on your contract.

I have had 7 delivery attempts the…

I have had 7 delivery attempts the delivery crew damaged the first two couches I ordered, the second set the delivery crew tried to wrench the backs of the couch off to complete the install. We watched this after the fact on our home security cameras. Subsequently he cut his hand and bled on the couch. When I brought this to Mor's attention I was treated as a liar or as if I were manipulating the situation to get a discount. However, I was able to provide them with the evidence. After three more calls I was offered free delivery. I have yet to have my couches delivered un-damaged. I was advised today that they would again be delayed for delivery untill November 11th and that may have to be pushed out further due to the fact "mor is very busy in their holiday season deliveries".

They were great i love my furniture…

They were great i love my furniture also they made me feel right at home showing me great pakage deals i bought a sofa and a loveseat also i bougt a king size bed frame for my pillow top king matress Kristen was such a doll i swear i will be purchasing more furniture there pretty soon i love this place i totally recommend this company u want regret it .thanks mor u the best.

Scammed! Cheap furniture!

Bought over $6.000.00 worth of furniture, was talked into buying furniture insurance that was promised to cover anything and everything. I made a HUGE mistake. Literally all of my furniture is starting to just fall apart. My end tables and coffee table have begun to come loose, my sofa and love seat both have the staples lifting everywhere and the padding on the arms are starting to move causing the arms to be non padded. I called Mor and they said that the staples coming up and the padding not properly set is a manufacture defect and that the coverage I bought doesn’t cover it.

They scammed me and ALL of their merchandise is cheap. Save your money and go somewhere else. By the way, I bought all of this about a year ago now but called to them about 6 months ago.

I’ll never buy from them again.
