Fake Cartier glasses!!!

I ordered a pair of Cartier eyewear and unfortunately I got some fake ones. I found it weird that the product was shipped out of Hong Kong. The box had a different colour, not the usual Cartier-red, the glasses were made of plastic, unlike the original ones, the Cartier logo and the serial number was not written properly. The eyewear fell below brand standards. I reached out immediately to the customer service and raised my complaint. They insisted that the eyewear was original, I insisted that it wasn't and requested a refund. They sent me a 'prepaid' return shipping label which was good for nothing as it was under the name of a third party , so according to FedEx I would have had to pay for the shipping back to Hong Kong.
After several emails they just stopped responding, so first time in my life I requested a chargeback from my bank. In the meanwhile I got a third-party authentication done and the eyewear really turned out to be fake. Not like I had doubts about it, but I wanted to get it authenticated. After some passive-aggressive emails from them, I decided to stop communicating with them. I made it clear that I am not going to return the fake glasses as it would be a criminal offense in the UAE to own counterfeit products.
They refused to pay me a refund, so I provided evidence to my bank and after a month finally I got my money back.

Bought a pair of luxury deigner glasses for $385 only to find they are FAKE

Bought a pair of designer sunglasses from them. I became sceptical after seeing that the glasses which are a US brand and manufactured in Japan were shipped out of Hong Kong. I reached out to the company and they assured me they were legit. When the glasses arrived, their packaging looks nothing like the original packaging from the Brand store, the glasses are a different size to the original and the weight and build wuality is completely different to what you get from a legit brand store. I ended up buying the originals at full price from the brand store and am in the process of returning the clearly fake glasses to Mori Optical.

Fake glasses

Fake glasses. Don't buy here. I bought a Dita frame and it is apparently a fake from the weight and the packaging.

I ordered a pair of Jacques Marie Mage…

I ordered a pair of Jacques Marie Mage (JMM) eyeglass frames and had a weird experience. When the items arrived, the frames themselves looked legitimate based on similar ones I saw in a local store. However, the serial number was strange: "00/400" instead of, well, some non-zero number out of 400. Is this a prototype or demo pair? Or just a fake pair? I don't know. Also, the box and case, etc., did not match the specs of those in the store or on the website. I sent an email three days ago but have not heard back. All in all, Mori Optical offered slight savings over other online retailers, and they had in stock a frame finish that I liked, but since they seem to be selling fake or gray-market frames, they should be avoided. Thankfully my credit card has me covered.

Very sturdy frames! Just as I expected. The quality is amazing and at the end of the day, this is what you are paying for. Many thanks.
