Great support

Great support! Regular feedback and email responses, which all tied together seamlessly. I never had to start my conversation from scratch with another MOS staff person. The draft letters to FASFA and to the school were an amazing help and saved us a lot of time. So, glad I found MOS while watching YOUTUBE. I am the parent of a student who is using MOS and I was happy to pay for this invaluable service. We need this type of support! Thank you so much!

Very Helpful

I was able to get help signing bup for grants I didn't know existed and they wrote an appeal to my college to get me extra funds I'm eligible for.

The Mos Team are fast and very helpful

The Mos Team are fast and very helpful. It was convenient only having to fill out one application. The emails from Mos kept me updated on my next steps. Unfortunately, I didn't receive extra funds this year, but that is because I waited so long to use Mos.

They actually do have good customer…

They actually do have good customer service. And they respond quickly. But I am not about to pay $150 because someone listed for me the 3 federal and state grants that I already knew I qualified for. And for the appeals, all you need to do is explain thoroughly and explicitly your financial aid situation, add supporting documents, be polite and express feelings. If I were to pay someone to do this for me, it'll be $10 max.
I expected that they had access to some grants and scholarships that students actually didn't know about not the state grants that are on the state's education website, FAFSA and FSEOG. Who doesn't know about these!?

Great advice, wonderful service!

As a mom of an incoming freshman, with no experience in applying for financial aid, I have only the best things to say about Mos. The advisers I've been in touch with, Emi and Amira, respond to my questions in a timely manner and make sure I understand everything in this sometimes confusing process of applying for scholarships and financial aid. It's like having a personal financial counselor, and I'm so grateful Mos is helping our family figure out how to best get an education without accumulating too much debt.

Give them a try!

Mos has a very strong, super responsive, extremely friendly, and helpful customer service team. Top of the line - An honest company who is not trying to take advantage of you financially, which is unfortunately the standard business practice of WAY too many businesses these days, but not them. I am in graduate school, in CA, and of average income. Unfortunately, Mos was not able to get me anything beyond student loans, but was quick to honor their refund policy that I qualified for - literally, I had a response and refund processed within maybe 15 minutes after I emailed them. Hassle and BS free. I think they are probably much more able to help those in undergraduate programs, as there is always more help available there than for grad school, and for those with lower income obviously. Anyway, they filled out my FASFA immediatey, had quick and responsive service, and were a pleasure to deal with despite no free money for me. I would still recommend giving them a risk free try! I don't regret it.

Granted additional assistance!

I was a little skeptical about Mos. I had never heard of them before and as a broke college student, getting scammed is the last thing we need. However, the MOS team has been a HUGE help to me! I tired contacting advisors through multiple different schools for someone to point me in the right direction for more assistance. I constantly would get the run around about filling out FASFA, which I had already done. Once Mos got on board, they contacted me that same day willing to help: looking for scholarships and grants. They helped me construct a letter to financial aid appealing my package. Thank to Mos I was granted an additional $2000 per semester at a private university. I start this fall2020.

Mos is a lifesaver!

I heard about MOs through a friend and was so happy I did! It was literally the week that FAFSA was due, and I had both my son and my step-daughter that needed to get their applications in. What a godsend and such great karma that I found out about Mos when I did. We signed up for both kids and it was so efficient and easy. The Mos team is completely on top of it from start to finish, even writing a letter that my son could copy and paste to send to his financial aid office explaining extenuating circumstances. I tell everyone I know that has college age and high school kids about Mos. The money I spent for the yearly subscription has been well worth it. I only wish I knew about it a year earlier when my son was still in high school.

Working with MOS was AMAZING

Working with MOS was AMAZING
I was 100% skeptical about this service before signing up as it was $150 and I had only heard of it from advertisements. However, they have totally won me over and I have recommended it to all my friends.
I worked with Nour, and she was responsive and quick to get me to the next step, and when I had done all the steps she would still answer my questions within a day. She provided me e-mail templates to send to my financial aid office and helped me lower my EFC on my FAFSA to qualify me for the Pell Grant and other federal aid!!
I also was able to suspend my payment a couple of months until my financial aid package is finalized, meaning I won't have to pay until I can!
MOS genuinely gave me the confidence to deal with financial aid, which can be daunting and boring.
Thanks mos.

My Representative was attentive, service was a no-go for non-resident Graduate student such as myself.

My Representative was attentive, polite and professional. They did a good job of responding to my (many) questions; he/she alone gets 5 stars.

The reason for my 4 stars, is I had waaay too many questions, which means something isn't quite clear in the process. I'd like to recommend some sort of online account checklist/ barometer so when students log in, they can see exactly where they are in the process, rather than relying solely on email updates. Mos is definitely a good idea and has clearly worked for some. I think If I were told on the frontend some of the reasons I may not qualify for aid, it would have set expectations a bit better so I didn't have to keep reaching out, fearful I was missing something and asking questions. My rating was NOT because I didn't qualify for aid; this is covered by their money-back guarantee. More so for the administrative piece (see my suggestions above) All in all, I'm not sorry I gave the service a try and would recommend it to undergrads specifically.

My advisor set me up for success. I did not know where to start for my financial aid appeal, and they wrote the ENTIRE letter for me and encouraged I added personal details to enhanced. I was checked on every couple weeks to ask about the process. I appreciated the awesome service!
