Clever and practical - designed with an understanding of what’s really needed (and what isn’t) in a dependable commute bag. I regularly carry computer, change of clothes, towel, book etc, and am able to run / cycle with that weight evenly distributed and comfortably held.

It carries the weight really well as it's designed to do. I wish the strap pockets were big enough to fit my cell phone.

Product good quality. Delivered safely and promptly.

A great bag, highly recommend it for those who run/cycle/commute to work.

At first it felt odd there was nothing on the shoulders, now I find it odd that backpack weight is kept on the shoulders.

Bag feels lighter when the weight is placed on the hips meaning you can really load it up.
A bit of a struggle at first to set it up correctly, once done wonderful feeling.

My motionlab bag is simply brilliant! I now run regularly with my laptop, something which I had thought was impossible. It is really comfortable, however took a couple of runs to get it set up just right. Their customer service guys were easy to get hold of and couldn’t have been more helpful with lots of tips to help me find the perfect fit. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to run to work!

Once set up correctly the difference to standard rucksacks is amazing.
I’ve been using it for long distance walking and running events and have chosen to use it over a standard running bag as the amount of weight it removes from your back and shoulders is untrue!

Once you’ve tried this bag you will not go back!

Been using this bag for a few months now, commuting to work once or twice a week (about 10k each way).
Am always surprised at how much weight is in the bag when I take it off, as don’t notice that weight when running at all.
Waterproof in light showers - yet to subject it to proper winter downpours.
Only gripe is/was: set up is a bit fiddly, but essential to get right (since sorting not been a problem since).

The Motionlab bag has been a revelation! I don't know why no one has ever thought of this. It's like a steadicam crossed with a rucksack enabling you to take the load off your shoulders. I've worn it for various 40km+ cycles and for a trip to the top of Snowdon. It really works!!

Truly innovative backpack design that is different to anything else out there.If you want a bag that takes ALL the weight off your shoulders then this is the only one.

This bag was a game changer in terms of taking all the weight away from my shoulders. I used it as a day pack for a 5 day trek in the Colombian jungle and can honestly say it's the comfiest backpack I have ever used. It also withstood the humidity and rainstorms and I can't speak highly enough of the bag design but also the amazing personal customer service offered to help me get set up and going. Fantastic!

A great product - really does take the stress out of your back when you are commuting. I've had up to 10kg in my bag and not felt any undue stress or strain on my back, neck or shoulders. It's remarkable!

This is a great product - which I tested on a 20 mile run along the Thames - it worked remarkably well and so I thoroughly recommend it.

The folks at Motionlab have made a rucksack that’s almost not a rucksack. Sounds strange. It’s true. I use the bag for running and cycling - best setup individually as it’s highly specific to your body shape and weight you’re carrying. There is genuinely nothing like it. Also they’re open and honest with feedback to truly help make their products better.

The Motionlab Bag has revolutionised the way that I travel to work. For the first time ever, I can run or cycle into work in comfort with all my stuff and without any risk of damaging my back.
