Throughout the whole process Frank was helpful, communicative and knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend him.

The most fun I've had playing D&D since I was kid. Never had a DM that came with such preparation and enthusiasm for the game. 100% recommend.

Fantastic scene setting & storytelling with an immersive and engaging adventure

My friends and I are experienced RPGers, who played together as kids and then a few years ago started playing again with D&D. We thought it would be fun to try out Motley Frank's Deluxe experience, so we could all party up together, without the weight of DMing and prepping falling on one of our shoulders, so we gave him a try.
Based on this first session, we definitely made the right decision. Our DM, Martin, crafted a detailed, bespoke experience, based closely on the characters we'd created and the backgrounds we ourselves had come up with. So it was a truly unique, personal scenario — nothing pulled from a box or a book.
Martin was attentive and creative, conjuring an immersive atmosphere with his detailed narrative. His prep work was also, as one of my fellow players put it, "legendary". He obtained and painted miniature figures to match each of our characters, and produced specially created maps for our visual reference. When the first map went down on the table it was truly a "wow" moment.
I've played a lot of D&D over the past few years, but this was easily the best session I've yet had. It goes without saying that we're already talking enthusiastically about setting up a second session to continue the story!

First time Dungeons and Dragoner but Martin made the whole experience very easy. Fantastic evening - very emersive. Definitely up for doing it again.

First time playing D&D but that didn’t matter. Martin was a great host, he made us all feel comfortable and the game was easy to follow. It was great fun. The evening passed in a flash - I suddenly realised we’d been playing for four hours. ! Throw yourself into this and you’ll have a hugely entertaining evening.

Nervous initially regarding playing a role playing game. This feeling soon disappeared, I got involved and a great evening

Martin created an immersive experience for me. I had always wanted to have a go at dungeon and dragons, but didn’t own a game or know how to start. The quality of the props and the descriptive narration really made me feel, like I was there. I would not hesitate to call upon Martin again, and I am already planning the next game with some new friends to the game.
