The Writers seem rather 'out-of-touch'

The Writers seem rather biased : The report on machines that few (of Us) will ever be able to afford and even add 'extras'. They almost always use extra BHP as a reason to own , yet BHP is a calculation that appears at maximum revs which are infrequently reached or used when not racing.

If I had to rely on MCN reviews…

If I had to rely on MCN reviews of almost every motorcycle I've owned - I'd have been driving a car these past 40 years instead!
MCN bike reviews are the most unreliable mc reviews I've ever read..
I'm currently riding a Yamaha Dragster Classic, that I've converted into a bobber - it is a superb 650 - it has impressed this biker of over 50 years with it's amazing performance & it handles surprisingly well for a custom bike..plus, it looks & sounds as good (if not better) than any HD & it only cost £2k - compared to the Shovel (which it has copied) of the same age (24 years old now)..costs £8k+😆

MCN print 'what bike?'

MCN print 'what bike?'
The winter edition 2019. It's riddled with inaccuracy, wrong photos, wrong descriptions. I paid £5.99 for this. Wanting to read about a Street triple on page 78 and it is for a Kawasaki zx9!
Brad Wendes on page 72 bought a Street triple 675 and would like more than 120bhp.You print he has a 765 and it's 121bhp.
Just 2 basic errors a simple proof read by any anyone with motorcycle knowledge would correct.
If you are thinking of buying a bike don't rely on any description of it they give.
There is also no contact email printed in the magazine

Nothing but fraudsters - Don't waste your time or money

Having seen MCN advertise about how great their service is, I can only say to anyone thinking of advertising their motorcycle for sale....Don't waste your time or money.

To start with, attempting to load pictures onto their website is almost impossible. Every time i attempted to do this simple task, it took forever, then didn't work and everytime it didn't work, I have to reenter the whole advert again. Eventually, I have to send them pictures of the bike for them to upload This facility is there presumably because they know they have an issue with user uploads.
In the two weeks that i have had the advert, I have not had a single legitimate user contact me. In fact the only enquiries are fraudsters.
When I contacted MCN's customer service team they informed me that they were aware of this fraudster and he had been reported to the police.....and yet, when I google the fraudsters email address, there is a ling history of this fraudster attempting to scam multiple websites. If he had been reported to the police by MCN, why was the account still live?
Lots of scammers contacting me via the MCN website and attempting to contact me outside of the MCN website.
All in all, a complete waste of my time and money. I would have been better off sticking with eBay where I sold the bike within one week and didn't have a single scammer contact me.
