Everything went very quick and smoothly. We didn't have to wait too much for paperwork or checks. Josh and Sam were really good and very helpful. For me it was the best experience that I ever had when buying a car.

The actual car was fine but they hound you into taking the car when your just enquiring. You talk to the first person then someone else comes over and asks why don't you want to take the car today. This is crazy considering you have had to save for years or get a loan to buy a car. The mats are always removed so they can coax you into buying their mats and car detailing kit when it's cheaper to just detail the car yourself and buy your own mats. It's not a relaxed environment it's pressurising you to make a purchase on the spot. Otherwise it would be ok because their cars seem fine. Haggle to see service documents etc and take copies away when you go to pick up the car.

Sold misdescribed ‘Match’ trim vehicle with missing software features. Shoddy service.
I bought a 2025 Reg Volkswagen Touran ‘Match’ from the Motorpoint Oldbury branch In August. The vehicle was explicitly marketed, priced, and is still logged inside my live online Motorpoint account profile as a ‘Match’ trim. Under VW manufacturer specifications, this trim strictly dictates the inclusion of Wireless App-Connect (Apple CarPlay), as factory, standard equipment.
However, the car lacks the digital activation license key because it was a stripped down fleet vehicle. Motorpoint Customer Care has issued a written refusal to cover the £189 software reinstatement fee, falsely claiming App-Connect app isn’t standard factory equipment on a ‘Match’ trim, despite their own vehicle specification sheet, promising “We Connect Plus” functionality.
Furthermore, customer service has been highly disappointing. Representatives called me multiple times trying to conduct verbal phone negotiations to avoid a paper trail, promised to put updates in writing, and then repeatedly failed to do so, stalling over a formal, seven-day deadline, under the guise of “reviewing recorded calls.“ Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must match their description. Slapping a premium trim name on a car to attract retail buyers while secretly leaving out core standard features is a complete breach of description.

Avoid this dealer if you expect your cars trim to match its actual factory software.

1st time ever going to Motorpoint, it was very professional, the whole experience of buying a car was smooth, enjoyable and easy, would highly recommend Motorpoint.

I went to Motorpoint Oldbury for a value on my toyota yaris as me and my Daughter were both looking for a new car . Without even looking at it the salesman valued my yaris at £7500, I then went to Arnold Clark Oldbury , their salesman checked my car from end to end and valued it at £10000.! no point in Motorpoint , not until they get a new sales manager .

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

My Step Son purchased a vehicle 10 days ago. Within days the gear box was making strange noises. Booked the vehicle into Motorpoint to get looked at. They came back and said nothing was wrong, so he went down to Motorpoint and got 2 staff to sit in the car (they recorded the noises coming from the car). Motorpoint haver now come back and said nope nothing wrong with vehicle (Basically telling him to eff off not their problem).

COMPLETE BUNCH OF SCAMMERS - WILL BE TAKING THEM TO OMBUDSMAN, BBC WATCHDOG, LOCAL NEWS.

They are happy to take thousands of £'s but unwilling but aftersales is a complete joke
