Best Services!!

This company is a complete scam! The movers try to get cash from you to pocket then bill you for it, they charge you for cubic ft that isn’t used and packing they don’t provide. They lose and break things and charge you extra.

I found these guys in my online search when looking for movers and car shippers in Cali. I didn't actually call around to a lot of places only to about 2 others. I settled on Movers Alliance because they didn't enforce a big minimum spend on me , which most do. They were flexible on pricing and could get going with the shipment right away. My car was well taken care and even if something bad went down they had me set up to be covered which helped on the minor stress I was going through during
the shipment transition.

A lot of nerve wracking feelings starting off looking for the right place to work with. Also spending money without knowing the outcome is just nerve wracking in general also. Anyway, after booking movers alliance for the job and seeing them in action I had much less of concern that something would go wrong. The movers were polite and kept things organized. Not to mention they were able to do the move on Sunday which was a day that many other places that I contacted were closed on. Getting back to the movers they were great. Well trained and not bunch of kids just trying to make an extra buck.

The were a skilled team. Moving isn't fun no matter who moves you in my opinion but there are places that will help ease the stress. This was definitely one of them.

First time using a moving company to relocate. I did some asking around and a friend told me about Movers Alliance, after calling them to get prices on what it would cost they were pretty helpful and detailed with their quote. I didn't have too much stuff two bedrooms and a living room worth of furniture and the rest was all small things. But i was not going to drive a thousand miles in a uhaul. They packaged and wrapped everything that was fragile nicely and nothing was damaged in the move which I'm sure if I would have done myself it would have been a different story. I plan on moving again next year and will sure be going with them once more. Highly recommend to anyone looking to save time and headache of moving themselves.

So me and my fiancé moved to Illinois a year ago to try something different well I should have knew how it was going to go from the way our move went. The previous company we hired to move us was horrible a tv broken, a painting scratched and a delay on time was just the beginning of the horrible experience. Although I love the city culture we could not deal with the cold in winter time so we made a quick decision to move back to Florida before getting hit with the winter weather. Luckily my fiancés boss in chicago knew of a credible company and referred us because we were not willing to go through that again. We called Movers Alliance and they gave us a free quote and was very helpful and patient with my fiancé's scepticism from past experiences. When the movers showed up they were polite and careful with everything in our place. Arriving back in Florida naturally we worried but As the movers reassured us nothing was damaged everything was exactly the way it was at our previous home. They were fast and very neat with our things. I highly recommend if your looking to move Movers Alliance is the way to go! There are too many people out there that just don't take pride in what they do. We both wish we would have known of them our first move. - Alonzo & Toya

Movers Alliance came in handy for moving a large amount of electrical supplies for a business that I help operate. We were handling all the electrical work for a job in South Carolina. It was more a efficient for us to hire professional movers than to rent trucks and go through the labor ourselves. It was much quicker too.
I want to thank the movers here. They were a hard working bunch. They met our deadlines when it came to arrive so we were able to start the job on time.

I used movers Alliance for relocating our family to the Midwest from the Miami area. We had 2 bedrooms, the usual furniture, tv, desk and lots of boxes. From beginning to end they made things easier without a doubt. The rates were comparable to most every place we spoke with. It was great for once to not play games with prices. I think we've all been there when you get hit with an additional bill at the end of the move. Just paid at the start and that was it!

It was worth the money.

I've had nothing but headaches in the past from moving companies. I'll spare you every detail of what went wrong but its usually the games they play on the price.

When I needed to ship some things to a relative in Washington, DC I crossed my fingers and went with this company.

What do I mean by that? Well almost every company when it comes to moving is nice on the phone and tries to give you a rate that seems great but often times many use special wording. Wording that is trick to have you go with them but then later on you get hit with extra fees. I'm happy to say the move was completed with Alliance and I never got hit with extra charges and everything arrived in good shape!

I used their DC location to move quite a few things to the Miami area. Wasn't charged for a estimate which was very in depth on their part. Price was good and most importantly they didn't play any pricing games. Rate stayed the same and was never hit with any surprising charges.
They answered most every question I had an responded to emails within a couple hours. All around pretty solid for the most part. They seem strongest in the packing department. One of the items I was shipping was a tall sculpture. They were able to make a custom box for it. Something I haven't seen before with other companies. Nothing noticeable went wrong and everything arrived within the time frame that they emailed me. I would use again if needed.

I looked at a lot of moving companies before picking this one to help with my relocations, they were very informative, helpful and understand. When the movers arrived they were very professional and were in and out before I knew it. Will definitely use them again.

We hired these guys more than a year ago because of their great Yelp reviews, which it turns out were manipulated.

First of all, they were really slow. We were moving from our own apartments to a new house on the same day. My now-husband had them pack all his stuff, and they wrapped every single item, including plastic cups, separately. He told them repeatedly not to wrap things that weren't going to break, but they kept doing it. It took 10 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment. They offered him a discount for writing them a good Yelp review, and he took it.

I had my stuff packed and ready. I'd moved a year earlier and it took 3 hours. With these guys it took 6 hours. They moved very slowly. They didn't pack the truck properly and had to repack some of it. They asked if they could take a short lunch break which they wouldn't charge me for, which ended up being a long lunch break which they did charge me for. The foreman was overly chatty and asked to buy one of my belongings. When I followed them down the freeway, I saw them stopped on the shoulder with both guys sitting inside the cab. They turned up 20 mins later and said they'd had a flat tire. They charged me for that time too.

By the time we got the truck unloaded at the new place, I was so tired of this endless move that I told them to leave my stuff in roughly the right rooms and I'd put it together later. When I went to do that I discovered that they lost the pegs for my bookcase, ripped the hinges on my other bookcase badly enough that it can't be put it together again, and I just noticed a big chunk of missing wood on my otherwise beautiful dresser.

It was a bad experience that keeps coming back each time I find another broken bit of furniture. Please don't use these guys.

Recently had to move apartments due to the fact that my current apartment was getting foreclosed on. So I found a great place in the south Loop with a great view. No one likes moving cause its a hassle but with Movers Alliance I had none of the headaches you would normally have. They were fast and efficient and so professional with my things. None of ,my belongings were damaged in the move. They gave me A great rate and there customer service was outstanding. Thank you again movers alliance I will be recommending you to family and friends.

Like most people I hate moving and the process of going back and forth for rates and finding a good deal seems like the biggest game to me. Not only that but I've also been through those moments when a moving company would add additional fee at the end of the move. So going into to any move my guard is already up.
For starters you can get a quote from their website - so early on if you don't want to talk to anyone you don't need to until you're ready to do the move. The online quote was ok, better than a few companies I looked at.. worse than some others. I decided to call up and go through some questions. I noticed other companies I had spoke to over the phone had to double check on answers while this company responded right away to my questions. That was a good noticeable different difference. When I called to get a few more details they explained a few areas of the move in which I could save money. Making that quote even lower. I got good feeling that they really cared about my best interests. They also guaranteed they would NOT give me any extra fees later on. The quote that was now a bit lower than the online one could be paid up front and that would be all that I owed.

The day of the move they sent over a great bunch of guys. They worked hard but also were cracking jokes making it kind of a fun experience actually. A few things I wasn't sure how to pack. Some art pieces that my friends had made me. They packed all of that for me and made sure that if it moved around during the trip that it wouldn't get damaged at all. Some definite attention to detail. They emailed me with ETA information about the move so I had an idea of when they would arrive. The info was pretty close to being exact when I met them at the destination. Looking over all my things. Nothing was chipped or scratched. Everything seemed just how it was when the move started. To think that I almost chose a different moving company - this could of gone way different. Glad it worked out for the best.

My roommate/best friend was moving a state away and needed a moving company that he could trust. We found this one online, picked it and hoped for the best honestly. Later on during the move he found out the previous renters were not even out of his new rental that he was about to move into and he already packed everything up. Alliance put everything in their storage for a day at no charge which was a fantastic start to a stressful situation. From there the movers took everything out of storage the next day and drove it over to the new location. When they arrived instead of just dropping off everything in different areas of the apartment they actually helped unpack and put things away. It really sped up the whole packing and unpacking process by a lot. I felt I needed to write this review because the experience we had was quite good.

Heard about this business from a colleague who had a great experience. Naturally when moving time came around I took his advice and it worked out quite well. Great communication from their staff about all details & different rate options when I called. The movers showed up a little early but thats a good thing. They listened well and worked clean and efficiently. I think I’ll carry on
this referral and tell a friend or two.

I recently hired Long Distance Movers Alliance to pick up my things on August 30th, 2015 for a move from Queens, NY to West Palm Beach, Fl. My things arrived on September 19th, if my memory serves me well. My things arrived a few days late, and I had to call the company to find out what was going on with my delivery. The movers who picked up my stuff were great. But that’s where the greatness STOPS. My stuff arrived with two men who worked quickly. However, as they were moving things around (before they unloaded my stuff) I noticed that one of them (not the one in charge) handled the boxes very roughly, throwing boxes in a way he shouldn’t be. I observed them placing heavier boxes on top of lighter boxes.
After unloading my things, it was discovered that one of my medium sized boxes were missing. They use a checklist system. The items are listed and numbered at the time of pick up, so that you can account for each item. Along with the missing box, two of my vases were broken, as well as my George Foreman grill and an electric griddle. These were used items. In trying to reach a settlement, Long Distance Movers Alliance has offered me $125 for a box containing personal items with a value of at least $250, two broken vases, one broken electric griddle, and a broken George Foreman grill. With the exception of the courteousness of their staff (Hector, the lead moving guy who delivered in WPB, the crew who picked up in NY, and Patrick, the Moving Specialist who booked my move), there has been nothing good about this moving experience. From late arrival, to broken stuff and missing boxes, I am sorely disappointed with their service. I am still awaiting a better response than the one I’ve been given, although it has been almost two month. I am sure they do NOT know where the box is at this point. But offering me $125 is insulting and quite frankly not enough. I had certifications for my job in that box,that I had to get over again. Which meant spending $170. That would have been more had I not been lucky. I had physical items that are $250 in value, plus broken items. In short, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY. Also, look them up on YELP. I wish I had before I did business with them.
