Wow, Amazing company, so professional.Day 1 packed up most of 5 bed house did not even hear them they were so quite, Day 2 finished packing moved to new house and unloaded putting everything where we wanted.

Excellent moving experience

I had a great experience and would happily recommend them. The team arrived on time, were professional and friendly, and worked efficiently throughout the move. My belongings were handled with care, and everything arrived safely without any issues.

Communication before and during the move was clear, which made the whole process feel well organised and far less stressful than expected. The movers were polite, respectful, and happy to help wherever needed.

Overall, a very smooth and reliable service. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

They seem to make things up as they go along. i.e. saying that they had arrived at the new address and where were we and the keys. When we said that we wouldn't get keys until money had gone through, they said that we should have been informed of a time to collect keys and then charged us another £160. We had a garden ornament which couldn't have been secured on the van and they did not inform us that it was broken. A standing lamp was damaged and they left items that we had to go back and collect, which was a nearly 2 hour drive away.

We had a good overall experience with Movers for Move. The team did a video assessment of the property and estimated the volumes needed to move. The day before, we received a phone call asking for photos of our contents as they had an issue with one of their vans, the person calling was quite abrupt.
In the morning, we were immediately met with complaints from the move team about the lack of parking - I was expected to try and reserve parking but there is a limit to the extend to which I could do so and was met with complaints from the move team.

The team then surveyed the property, later, I received an email from the office saying that we had oversized boxes and too many boxes and needed to pay more. The team onsite did not mention this. The email also said that the team was not happy to move the oversized boxes - my partner and I subsequently moved these.

We felt the communication here should have been better and would rather have spoken directly to the move team on site rather than via email with the company office.

We eventually had a good dialogue with the team onsite, they said we had more than was mentioned in the video assessment. It is quite hard to work out how they came to this conclusion. Furniture was put into their original boxes to allow stacking, contents of ikea kallax's put into boxes.

The move team were EXCELLENT, very chatty, helpful, accomodating and did an amazing job loading the van efficiently. We did need an additional run and the team did that efficiently. They did not hestitate to take boxes from myself or my partners hands as we helped them and navigated the new house without any hestitation of needing to navigate the three floors.

In summary, the team were excellent, really nice people and incredibily hard working. I feel that the communication and preparation for move day could be improved. Particularly the communication at the start of the day, which led to a stressful start to the process and made the morning quite stressful. We appreciate we had three vans worth of possessions and rely on the video survey, so making sure that is as accurate and representative as possible is essential. Overall - I would recommend, but be very clear with communication.

The moving team arrived on site promptly and conducted themselves in a very helpful and polite manner. The equipment was moved seamlessly, and they communicated effectively with our team throughout the process to ensure everything was stored in the correct location

Best service for late evenung at my availability.

I booked this company for a move London to London and I had the packing included with the service. As a standard the offered dismantling and reassembly of the furniture that didn't fit through the door. Here comes the issue... I had our master bed and our kids bunk bed to move with other items. While reassembly our bed I realised that the guy was doing it the wrong way around and I asked him to tak it apart again and re-reassemble it. When it came to the kids bed, I didn't supervise and they ended up mounting the ladder wrongly without using two screws to secure the slates to the frame. This caused to the slates to collapse while my son was climbing into the bed almost having him falling from the bad. When I sent the picture and asked for compensation, after two weeks of hide and seek from them, they replied that it wasn't their fault and this could have been caused by myself like I was interested in dismount a mounted bed to make my kids fall.. they also mentioned a rubbish excuse of me not reporting the issue within 24hrs and they would have refund 50£ as a gesture of good will... Incredible.. absolutely unacceptable attitude from someone that says being professional. They just didn't take responsibility of their fault. Be careful..

Extremely poor service and wouldn’t recommend.

The movers showed up 2 hours late which meant moving in to the night.
I paid 450£ and did the majority of the move myself.

We had a fantastic experience with Movers for Move. The team were very friendly, efficient and careful. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The whole experience has been absolutely excellent – from sales' responsive and efficient correspondence and getting it arranged, to the delivery team, who looked after my belongings really well and really cared about keeping it safe, to the very efficient way they loaded and unloaded at the destination.

First class service from all and I will definitely use you again!

This moving firm were amazing! The team were quick efficient and friendly, offering to help out of their remit. They treated everything with due care and attention resulting in a safe damage free move. My move was stress free thanks to this team and all at a reasonable price I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Wonderful service and a can do attitude from the team, I have already recommended Movers for Move to many of my friends - and I would definitely enlist them again for any future moves.
