Submitted Claim 2/16/26 - no response almost May

My experience with Moving Claims has been extremely frustrating.
I submitted my claim on February 16, 2026, regarding damaged items from my move. It is now April 27, 2026, and I still have not received a meaningful response or follow-up.
The process feels like the information goes into an abyss. You submit the required information, but there does not appear to be any clear communication, accountability, or timely update afterward.
A claims process should not leave customers wondering for months whether their claim is even being reviewed.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Moving Claims. The lack of response and follow-through has only added to an already stressful moving experience.

Roadblocks, sleight-of-hand, frustration, cheap

Total scam based on making claims difficult with lots of roadblocks, sleight-of-hand and intentional frustration. If you're moving company uses them, you are SOL. If you haven't hired a moving company yet, check who they use for claims and investigate that outfit first; if they are like movingclaims.net, run. Fast.

Industry scam

Movingclaims.net is one of the most frustrating and unhelpful companies I’ve ever dealt with. They make the claims process nearly impossible. They demand bills of sale, depreciation calculations, model numbers, two written repair estimates, and multiple color photos from different angles — and they won’t even accept digital photos. They also require box numbers from the original invoice.

After all that, the “industry standard” payout is only $0.60 per pound, no matter how valuable or damaged the item is. I asked why they require so much unnecessary paperwork when they’re just going to estimate the weight and pay pennies, and they never responded. Instead, they kept sending automated emails telling me how to file.

It feels like they intentionally create barriers so customers give up. Before you hire a moving company, ask who handles their claims. If they say Movingclaims.net, choose someone else.

Moving Claims.Net is as all the reviews…

Moving Claims.Net is as all the reviews I've seen on numerous websites state is a fraudulent company full of scam artists. The moving companies use this as the resource to resolve claims against them to scam their customers. Mile Relocation and Simple Moving destroyed and damaged my furniture and then sent me to file a claim for the damages with this scamming website. After weeks of playing games, claiming they didn't receive the emails, and other documentation they finally acknowledge receipt of everything I provided;Only to come back and offer me $300. Absolutely unacceptable!

I was given a settlement Amy of $78…

I was given a settlement Amy of $78 which will not even cover the cost for repair of the lamp. I did not agree to a 60 cent per pound reimbursement!!! My loss was well over $5000.
Reading the reviews for your corporation makes me believe that you do NOT reimburse as promised.
Reconsider my claim settlement offer

Moving Claims is not what they claim

I was provided Moving Claims as the mediator for a moving claim I wanted to file with my mover. It has been nothing but frustration. Their web site for claim submission does not allow saving work, so after several hours entering the details and the website crashing, I requested a different mechanism. After being told to use the website multiple times, I was offered an email to submit to. Then the file size restriction made submitting the required details nearly impossible. Lack of communication through the process, including when the moving company made an insulting offer. I demanded to dispute, which was met with multiple email exchanges claiming to never have received my dispute, even though the email exchange included the acknowedgment of receiving it. Very Very disappointing. DO NOT use them or United Region Van Lines out of Waukesha, WI

just delay, complicate, and underpay

even when provided with weight information, they barely budged and still underpaid. and, just to make it complicated, they make you notarize the simple piece of paper, probably resulting in many not doing.

Just a middleman to the movers who caused the damage, but provides the movers with a buffer and an agent for them to delay, complicate and underpay.

Absolutely Disgusted with Moving Claims.net - A Total Waste of Time!

I am writing this review to warn anyone considering using Moving Claims.net. Our experience with them was incredibly frustrating and utterly unacceptable. While our moving company was helpful and tried their best, once the claim was filed with Moving Claims.net, their hands were tied, and all communication and resolution had to go through this third party.

We filed a claim for very straightforward damage that occurred during our move. Our brand new dining room table was significantly gouged, requiring professional refinishing, which we estimated would cost between $250-$500. Similarly, a valuable piece of framed artwork (a large 40x60 frame) was heavily scratched, also needing repairs in the $250-$500 range. Our total claim was a reasonable $500-$1,000 to cover these repairs.

After a protracted and incredibly frustrating process, Moving Claims.net had the audacity to offer us a mere $75 as an "inconvenience fee." This is an insult! It doesn't even begin to cover the cost of refinishing a single item, let alone both. This low-ball offer aligns with countless other reviews I've seen where customers were offered pennies on the dollar or an insulting "inconvenience fee" after months of waiting.

If you're looking for genuine assistance with a moving claim, save yourself the headache, anger, and wasted time. Do NOT use Moving Claims.net. Their process is designed to wear you down and offer you next to nothing.

Giving a 1-Star is actually a stretch

Giving a 1-Star is actually a stretch. In my opinion this is a total SCAM along with the moving Company. I had to ask for the Claim documents 2-times, submitted the information only to be told they never received it and to resubmit. Then you have to Pay(recurring) Credit Card to get an updated status. They give contact emails only to have them returned "Undeliverable". It appears that they create an atmosphere of Frustration so that you will not pursue your Claim. I would never recommend to anyone to use this inadequate service.

Worst moving experience ever!

When the movers came to pick up the furniture they were supposed to move, they also put things into their moving van that they were told not to take.
When the furniture was delivered to the new house I had the following problems:
2 legs are missing from the dining room table, the Granet top to the buffet was broken. I am missing 2 glass shelves to the dining room hutch. I also have a lot of missing pieces for smaller things such as power cords and hardware needed to assemble the items myself. No body from Midline Vanlines seemed to care about my situation. And the move cost me more than 2X the original estimate. I have never experienced service this bad before now. I would recommend that you get a referral from someone you know and trust before you hire a moving company. Or it could become your worst nightmare.

This is such a scam . A ploy.

This is such a scam. They pretend that they are going to actually work on processing a claim on behalf of the moving company . After you submit claim they just fade away . They send you a confirmation that they received your claim submission and then they disappear . No follow up contact after the initial claim submission. You have to chase them to try to get an update on the status of your claim. I bet they do not pay any claims. It’s just a ploy. The moving company was very unscrupulous and damaged my furniture, and assured me that the insurance that I purchased would cover the one chair that I needed replaced. It’s all a ploy .

I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF NOT…

I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF NOT PURCHASING MOVING INSURANCE AT ALL! I paid $1700 for insurance and their coverage didn’t even cover ONE of the broken items. After thousands of dollars worth of damages, they issued me $138 for a settlement. Not to mention it cost me $300 just to get the appraisal for the two antiques that were damaged - one destroyed beyond repair, the other one lost about $2k in value because of the break. Also, you cannot speak to anyone. Everything is done via email. Their claims filing process is EXHAUSTING and a complete waste of time. If you have any other way to get moving insurance, do that. Anything is better than this.

MovingClaims.net is a group of scammers I believe …

MovingClaims.net is a group of scammers hiding behind a Claims company, I used a moving company for the first time in my life , the company name (Ocean Moving and Storage) there’re located at 3044 SW 24nd St Ft. Lauderdale Fl , and they broke my dining room table and broke one chain, they refer me to MovingClaims as the claims company to file my claims for compensation, this turns out to be a scam business they’re running, after filling out the paperwork and attached photos of the broken furnitures they started with the most BULL SHIT I have ever come across,
They wanted copies of all documents back and front and not to mention they have to be less than 10MB plus the photos of the damage furniture , they don’t accept files in ZIP or CLOUD BASE , lest than 10MB only one file can be sent, after multiple times of reaching out to them in frustration I give up, can’t deal with their bull shit so I send what I have one last time in December and they never respond after that,
I think this company should be referred to the Attorney General’s Department to investigate their operations.
Very shady business dealings going on, big scammers.

Complete and total scam

Complete and total scam. Provided extensive documentation on the damage done during my move and they offered me $100. The movers destroyed $3000 worth of stuff. They provide no documentation on how they got to their valuation and then ask you to sign a binding settlement agreement. Don’t use international van lines and save yourself the hassle of working this company.

Isn't America great!

Isn't America great!! Put up a website and use phrases like "customer protection", "industry leader", "help & support" and "providing the public with honest, ethical, efficient, and high-quality services".

Absolutely none of which is true. NOT ONE WORD.

Advice: don't even start a process with this online rip-off. Total waste of your time for an offer that wouldn't even buy you dinner.

Exact same experience as everyone else. Offered me $75 reimbursement for thousands of dollars lost in my move. Start far away. I’m pursuing legal action because this is fraudulent.

Horrible and emotionally exhausting experience

If I could give them minus double 0, I would. This service is a waste of time and not in the best interest of the victims of companies like Sala Moving and Storage. Although I know and understand they are not an insurance company, they could mediate in the best interest of someone who spends thousands of dollars to be disrespected and treated like a fool. SALA Moving and Storage broke and damaged most of my belongings. I spent time taking pictures, uploading them on my computer, putting a case together, and even sending a quote just for one of my broken items that exceeded $1,000 with the hope that I could get some money back to recover some of the things I lost just to be offered $175.00 (after appealing the original $75.00) like I was begging for charity. Wasting my time, energy, and emotional health was as worthless as this service is. Go to a lawyer and do not waste your time. How "sorry they feel for your inconvenience" does not resolve your loss and your new financial burden.
Thank you for nothing MovingClaims.net

I give this company zero stars

I give this company zero stars! Everything I owned I trusted with this useless moving company. They have a list of all my damages to my furnitures and all my missing items. And yet they want to settle with only $75.00. Get the heck outta here! They want this Good Faith Agreement offer notarized and not altered. Well I am not signing this insulting document. These ridiculous company owes me more than that! I need this incompetent claims company to recalculate the settlement offer because 75.00 is not good when I paid Rado Logistics over 18,000 cash!!
