This company has closed

I live near this place and it’s been closed for a few months , it’s a real shame because I used to shop there all the time lots of people working there . It was established a long time and I knew the owner so no idea what happened .and where he is now . Another place bites the dust I geuss .

Company now dissolved

Arcle Machinery Trading under Mowers2go has now been formally dissolved by the Petley Directors on 15.7.25. There is now limited recourse for the many outstanding creditors like myself who placed an order in good faith on 17.7.2024 who never received their goods even after hundereds of phone calls, emails, & customer complaints. The small claims court filling came just to late for this rogue company and its directors! Its a far cry from what they promised " Experience the Mowers2Go difference: where variety, quality, and customer satisfaction create the perfect blend for all your gardening endeavors. Trust us to equip you with the finest, because your landscape is our legacy"
The only legacy the Petley Directors have left behind is one of distrust and embezzlement out of hard working people. Complete shame on the indivduals allowed to run this business or any other!

Ordered a simple mug in December

Ordered a simple mug in December, they haven’t sent, don’t answer the phone or emails. I feel very sorry for people who have spent a lot of money buying from this terrible company.

£400 order never arrived

I placed an order for over £400 which was never received. After months of false promises they stopped replying to emails and are not contactable by phone. 9 months from ordering I got money back via my credit card provider. Don’t use, they can’t be trusted. Time wasters

I will never use or recommend this company again!

We ordered a lawn mower that was on special offer back in March/April 2024 and was told it was about an 8 week lead time. Time went by and nothing came. Like most other reviews they never answer their phone, replies to emails are sporadic and then just kept promising delivery would be next week, that would go by and then the email battle had to start again! I would be told that Stihl had had issues importing the goods, I rang Stihl direct and they had had no such issues! Eventually in around November I contacted them asking for a refund. They said they would look into it. Nothing, so i called Trading Standards and they took up the case. Still didn't get my order or my refund so ended up taking them to the small claims court and I finally got paid back and they had to pay the costs of lodging the claim in December!

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I say dealt with I never got to deal with. No reply to many of emails, cannot get them on the phone. Never got my order and had to get my bank involved to get a refund.
Please do not use this company they are dismal and should be ashamed of themselves.

No product 3 months after paying

No product 3 months after paying. Do not answer telephone, only reply to emails with a load of bull that they are getting stock in next week and will let you know when it arrives, but they never do. They are scamming honest people for decent amounts of money, they can't be allowed to get away with it, it's disgusting! Eventually I got a refund by going through paypal.

AVOID

AVOID. Ordered August 2024 and have been chasing ever since. Have not received my order. Initially responded saying they would send then stopped replying to emails and do not answer any calls. Had to do credit card chargeback to get refund. DO NOT USE !!!

I had used them previously and Dispatch following order placement was poor, but I always received responses and ultimately whatever I'd purchased , why did I return ? ... they were cheaper and I knew what to expect... but was it good service ? NO.
Anyway Order placed in Oct, chased in early Jan... nothing , early Feb proceded with Recovery via Credit Card Company/protection... status of Customer service enquiry still awaiting agent.. no response to emails and phone line either rings out or Permanently engaged.

Took my money and then nothing.

Took my money and then nothing.

Having failed to deliver the ordered and paid-for mower in the summer, and then promising to do so in October, and then January, the company has now stopped responding to my emails, messages through their website and telephone calls.

I wonder if they have gone bankrupt or something. (If not, with service like this, it can only be a matter of time.)

I'm aggrieved that I have to give them…

I'm aggrieved that I have to give them one star because they don't even deserve that! I would go so far as to say they have been the worst company to deal with I have ever had the misfortune to come into contact with. I am one of the lucky ones who have actually received my brush cutter........... it only took 7 months and countless emails and numerous phone calls. This is only due to persistence and I complained directly to Stihl head office.

AVOID AVOID AVOID total Scammers

Scammers, do not buy from them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Take your money then nothing, can’t call or email as no response. They will try and tell you they have internet and phone issues ( seen on FB page), what a load of bull ****. If you have company you do everything you can to make sure you have connections with customers. Only thing left to do is go and visit shop and have it out face to face.

Ordered Stihl secateurs battery and…

Ordered Stihl secateurs battery and charger back in July, emailed them and tried ringing, initially they replied by email and said thank you for your patience, back order etc. Still nothing and now no response to emails tried ringing and goes dead and rings out on other line, I emailed asking for reimbursement and still no response.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company , i ordered an extension piece for my GTA26 pruner on the 13th Dec 2024 . And still have not recieved the goods or a refund , its 8 weeks this Friday. They will not answer the phone and only had 2 e-mails saying they will sort it . They have stolen £83 of
me now . I wish i could give them a star rating off -5. Update , over 3 months now and still no goods or refund .

Scam company

Hi, I have sent multiple emails, no reply, tried to call, no answer.
I still have not received the refund for the two orders that I cancelled, and you said the refund would be in my bank within 5 days, that was 2 weeks ago.

The orders were #54730 and #55795

11/05/24 made order #54730
13/05/24 transaction processed for £1264.19

30/05/24 made order #55795
03/06/24 transaction processed for £163.79

I would like my refund please!

I will keep emailing and pestering you for another week, after that I will have no choice but to contact Trading Standards!

Your business is atrocious, and you should be ashamed of your selves!
