DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They direct debit charged me without my permission before I even had confirmed a job (and before they even did a job), they pre charge you before jobs and when the amount was incorrect they didn’t give me a refund. They are dodgy.

I only write reviews if the service is very good or very bad. In this case, it is very bad and I implore anyone intending to use MOW NOW to look elsewhere.
I have used them 3 times, the first I will be honest was pretty good and so I thought they were going to be good to deal with.
The second time the quality of the mow was very poor but what was very frustrating was they dumped the grass in a corner of the property despite there being an empty green waste bin and all information suggesting they would put it in the bin and I had to move it myself. They offered a $10 discount which I guess was something.
The third time was the worst, despite me even confirming that I wanted the grass in the bin and overflow next to the bin it was still dumped around the corner nowhere near the bin, and on top of that I booked 2 hours and what he achieved in that time was less than what others had in under an hour. Frustrating.

We were so frustrated with the lack of service after paying $80.00 in advance (as previously required), that we bought a weedeater and decided to do our lawns ourselves! I paid $80.00 on 04/01/23 and Joy kept giving us dates as to when the gardener was going to turn up, then cancelling on the day, after making us wait hours for him to turn up! This happened on numerous occasions, so she eventually offered us a refund, which she promised she was sending through. It's now 31/01/23 and no sign of our refund. I've been chasing this up to no avail, so it's time to take this further. I had advised her we needed the yard tidy as we were having visitors over due to my being really ill. Maybe they're hoping if they wait long enough I won't need a refund anymore ...
UPDATE @09:33 - Received a call from the company saying they've read my review and refunded me. They've also said my review is going to adversely affect their business, asking me to please remove my review. I flatly refused, saying that people need to know how they do business!

Yet again had my garden weed whacked, even though the borders to the garden were seen. Why jump 50 cm to weed whack a garden that had flowering white daisies, globe artichoke, comos, etc. No couldn't stop him in time! Just asked to weed whack borders which he could see & mow lawns. No problem with the lawn mow but you need to let clients know that your employees know nothing about gardens. So far I am out about $1500.00 mim compost, mulch plants & gardner expertise where to plant. REALLY ANNOYED as I gave them a second chance

This was our first time with any lawn care company and we'll definitely be coming back. Our gardener, Jacob, did an amazing job at trimming back our overgrown lawn to our absolute satisfaction. Would definitely recommend.

My first experience with this mowing company, and what a excellent job Andrew did. I would like to thank him so much. I rung to get a booking and the next day my lawn was done. The price was a bit high but worth it.

We certainly did not receive the service that we asked for.
We sent photos of the job required and received a quote for this which was paid upfront.
The job was not completed as per arrangement.
Mow Now did offer a discount on our next mow but we would not use this company again

I paid a large amount for my backyard to be done. Couldn’t get their contracted gardeners to do it on the scheduled day. Job rescheduled again and same thing happened. They got another gardener to prioritise my lawn when I asked for a refund. This company sucks!

Prompt response, I messaged them and within the hour I got an sms. They were able to book a gardener for me the next day which was awesome.

The gardener did a good job considering that the grass is over grown already. After his work is done the lawn is just nice and tidy. Really happy with the work he did

I went through good old Google to help hunt me down a lawn mowing company. Searched around and somehow got me to Mow Now website. Easy to deal with, the lawn looks lovely and no more weed in the front of our company. Our shop front looks amazing after 2 months of lockdown!
