I had initially removed this review (previously 2 star) following a request from the owner of MPN. I was called and profusely apologised to and asked to remove the review and they would come back out and "make up for it". They did indeed come back and offered exactly the same price as before and did not offer to price match, which just wasted time unfortunately. After considering this further, I realised it was very dishonest to delete a very valid and honest review. And likely worse to be asked to do so in the first place. Because they did come back out and were much more professional, I have increased from 2 to a 3 star review.

So below is my previously deleted review:

I had my first experience with MPN 4 years ago. 2 new windows and 2 new doors. Great prices offered and a fast turn around. Though they ignored requests for a range of restricted opening on windows (as I have a child) and I didn't know until fitted. There were a number of parts of the work not carried out on the day which required further revisits (which wasn't an issue), though I was called continuously for payment even though their selling point is "no payment until complete".

Regardless of this, I was happy with the windows so asked them back recently for more window replacements. Tony was a typical "sales man". All chat and very little trust in him unfortunately. Though, the prices sounded good. I got another quote from SafeStyle UK (which Tony told me I was wasting my time as they're so expensive), but they actually beat the price.

I then replied to a text from Tony about an update on my decision, the conversation went as follows (copy&paste):

Me: "Hi Tony, please remove my details from the system as I have booked with another fitter. Thank you"

Tony: "OK. Some people just go cheap, good luck"

Me: "Great salesmanship ha.
I went with safe style following a lower price for same/higher quality."

Tony: "Safe style, wow, let’s hope the fitters do a good job, because they want come back to rectify the issues, check out there reviews, the only good thing they do finance but interest to hogh. By the way it’s not the same quality, I do mean you well, good luck, take care"

Me: "Tony, surely you see how unprofessional this is?

There's a 7day grace period and you've just ruined your chances of a sale if I change my mind or even a sale if I get the other windows done."

Tony: "I was thinking of you I promise, I would rather you have gone anywhere else apart from safe style, I used to work for them, when they reduce price they change from an A grade to a C product, without the customer knowing, that’s why I was sincerely thinking of you, "

Me: ""some people just go cheap" is very far from thinking of me.

Losing a sale is really not worthy of your unprofessionalism. "

This level of unprofessionalism is profound and petty.

I will now definitely not use MPN for future purchases unfortunately.

Really pleased with the composite door installed to replace our old wooden single glazed door. From the first contact, measuring up to install and tidy up everyone was efficient and polite, the quality of the product and installation was top notch too. Door is solid as a rock.

Our house is noticeably warmer and we have much more privacy. The door looks lovely inside and out and despite opting for less glass in our design the room feels brighter thanks to the over door window installed. Really really pleased.

Would recommend and use again in a heartbeat.
