CAUTION!

NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND DISRESPECTFUL!
Shopped for a refinancing loan September through December, 2025. Loan Officer Michael Reddy assured me (at my insistence) it would be a soft pull (I believed him) on my credit report, October, 2025; asking, “Do you trust me?” He instructed me to fill out the form in email link he sent me. December, 2025, I committed with a different lender and gave Mr. Reddy a courtesy call to let him know I chose another lender to move forward and apply for my refinance loan. He said he could not match the same terms. Later, I come to find out Michael Reddy made 2 HARD PULLS to my credit report; October 2025 and December 2025. I reported American Pacific Mortgage’s (APM) dishonesty to all 3 credit bureaus who advised me contact APM directly to initiate a correction to my credit report. I spoke with VICTOR RAMIREZ who struck me as condescending during our phone conversation; and, I told him such. Ramirez advised me APM never performs a soft pull even when “shopping around.” I told him his loan officer LIED; Ramirez did not deny it; in addition, Ramirez stated the December hard pull should be deleted as there was no authorization for the pull. When following Reddy’s directive I agreed to a credit authorization believing it to he a soft pull; nowhere does it reveal it as a hard pull. CLEARLY, I WAS DUPED! All I asked for was a correction made to my credit report. Ramirez showed himself so disrespectful as he ghosted my follow up email after failing to make the correction. BEWARE AND TAKE CAUTION WITH THIS LENDER! DON’T BE DUPED, TOO!

Look Anywhere Else

Simply the worst company I've worked with. Slow, very unresponsive, expensive, account data is inaccurate, requirements to use them are insanely burdensome. My advice is to use anyone else.

wish i could score them lower.

I began the mortgage process with them. and long story short , after initial conversations, they just vanished and would not even speak with me. I readily admit I was not the ideal candidate, but i did at least expect to be treated like a customer with normal courtesy etc. Didnt get that. Specifically i worked with Chris Hodges, who was absolutely pathetic. Not sure how he is employed but, he is.
