Although the ordering of the wheels / tyres went well, they failed to inform me the tyres I'd ordered weren't in stock so would delay my delivery for up to a week - so much for next day delivery. Only... See more

Nothing wrong with the wheels when they finally arrived but you need to address carrier issues. I was given 3 different times and days by dhl all of them no shows.

Fantastic Product and service
Excellent product and price. Asked for advice in advance of purchase and was given options and details to satisfy my queries. There was a hitch with courier but rather than leave me to deal with it, Mr Winter Wheels stepped in, took ownership of issue and gave me update every 3 hours until problem was resolved. Every so often I have experienced an issue with couriers but I have never known a company to take ownership like Mr WW. I cannot recommend them strongly enough and would not consider going anywhere else in future.

Superb service, fast delivery, and unbeatable prices (I got a full set of wheels and tyres for less than a pair of rear boots for my 5series!).

18" Borbet Alloys
I got in touch with 'WinterWheels' on recommendation from a Third Party and received an excellent service from start/finish. The price was great when compared with other 'would be' providers, delivery was prompt and the goods (as expected) were in perfect condition.

16 inch steel wheels and winter tyres for VW Golf
speedy service, wheels arrived in good condition. Only niggle is that with steel wheels ordered the valves fitted are too short to enable tyres to be inflated with VW OE wheel trims fitted.

Black 18" wheel tyre set
Great service and excellent advice. Purchased my 2nd set of winter wheel / alloys, 18" black 5 spoke. Unfortunately these appear to be a very soft alloy showing a lot of stone chips to the rim edge on only a few 1000 miles.

Reply from MrWinterWheels.co.uk
HI Mike, thanks for the review and comments. The alloy specification is A356.2-T6 (T6 meaning 'heat treated') heat treating is a process to further increase the strength of the alloy, so the alloy is actually the toughest available. The coating is also very robust, it's 300 microns of powder coat, paint and lacquer which has to pass a 480 hour salt spray test to meet it's TUV approval requirements - excellent for winter. It would be great to see a picture of this to identify the problem. Thanks again
Excellent service!
I purchased wheels and tyres and the service was excellent, they delivered when they said at a very competitive price.

Good service and products
Easy process to select tyres and wheels and pay via PayPal. Good selection at good prices. Items came exactly when indicated and appropriately packaged. Information supplied with the wheels/tyres is comprehensive and should be read before putting them on as winter wheels are sided.
Overall good service at a good price.

Everything was as ordered alloy wheels with Goodyear Ultragrip Winter Tyres fitted and balanced at a price that couldn't be matched elsewhere. Wheels are on the car now and just waiting for some snow to really try them out.
