Put a fully refundable deposit on a car with a view to seeing it on a day agreed. Phoned them and told them i could not make it due to covid isolating. Asked if they would hold the car or relist it. Was told they would ring me back but it didnt happen. Later noticed the car had been relisted the same day. Enquired about my refund, the lady said management would contact me. Nothing happened, phoned and text again but was ignored. They still have my £100 and will not communicate. My advise, do not leave a deposit with these people as it is clearly not fully refundable as i was told. I will now be reclaiming this through my card company. Terrible dishonest people.

Thank you for your 1 star review and negative comments. I must say this is a very disappointing review and very misleading to all of the genuine buyers out there trying to navigate the internet to find trust worthy dealerships.
The reality of this transaction was some what different to what you are claiming on your review so I feel it would only be fair to disclose my side of proceedings to give an honest overview of goings on.
You approached us having showed interest in one of our vehicles but said you could not get down for a week or so to view. We asked you if you would like to secure the vehicle with a refundable deposit SUBJECT TO VIEWING you agreed to these terms and we’re very happy that we could hold the car for you till you could get down. As agreed we then prepared the vehicle by taking off sale, removing from our forecourt, having it MOT’d and given it health check so when you came to view, should you be happy the vehicle it would have been ready to drive away, sparing you two trips.
This can I point out is a costly and time consuming process.
A day or so before you were due to arrive you told us your wife had contracted coronavirus and had to isolate for 10 days. You then asked for your deposit back but we arranged to hold the car for you until your wife had the all clear but if it sold in the mean time we would return your deposit. This is the reason the car was re listed just in case another buyer came to market in between your wife isolating.
Could I now point out over 10 days have passed and you have decided not to travel down to view the vehicle?
Now if anyone reading this feels that this is a dishonest service then perhaps MTC is not for them but all I can take from this is you are not a man of your word and have very much wasted MTC’s staffs time in preparing a car for you and you have not even had the decency to come down to view the car when that was always the agreement from the get go.
I would be happy to discuss this further with you and refund your very minimal deposit should you wish as these damaging misleading reviews make such an impact on small independent companies and I would very much like to resolve rather than being made out to be running a dishonest dealership.

BMW 350GT
We bought a second hand BMW 350GT from MTC and have to say we are delighted with the car, it’s presentation and after sales service. There was a minor issue which developed a few days after purchase and this was rectified immediately. No hassle.

After sales customer service
Bought a Range Rover which had a couple of issues that kept coming up over the past few months. We had to keep bringing the car back.
Marc and his team took care of each issue as fast as they could, one time having to send it out to be fixed.
We love the car and we are very impressed with the level of after sales care we received. Pleasantly surprised.
Looking forward to upgrading to another newer Range Rover next year, and we'll be back.
