Great Communication
I love having more information than just the itinerary up front-where to fly to, pick up information, packing information, etc. I appreciate the email confirmation that includes not just the booking but also the host, important dates, how to contact the host, and re-highlighting the important information so it doesn’t get overlooked. I feel like I have a lot of information up front to make sure I am adequately prepared going into this

Lovely Lapland team!
I took a trip with MBA to Lapland. The trip was excellently organised. The hosting team of Reider and Tiina were lovely and accounted for everything. The activities (Snowshoeing and Ice Climbing) were wel organised. Overall a great experience. I'd definitely travel with MBA again!

Wonderful experience and guide.
I had the most excellent time on this trek to Everest Base Camp. Birdhoj was a fantastic guide. Right from the get go he made us all feel so comfortable and welcome. He was patient, knowledgeable, attentive, kind, and so funny! He really looked out for everyone and I felt like we were in excellent hands the entire time. We also had a fantastic group which was one of the highlights of the trek for me. It was a stunning trek and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to make it happen. Also big s/o to Aayush and our wonderful porters!

The Gift of Time and last minute adventure travel
I was presented with the gift of time and reached out to Much Better Adventures to see if they could accommodate me on a last minute request. The MBA team was phenomenal - booked, confirmed on Tuesday and all set to begin a trek in Costa Rica beginning on Saturday.
No hassles, great communications, very responsive to calls, texts and emails.

Picos hikers, carry lots of water
I really enjoyed hiking the Picos De Europa. The only thing that should be fixed is letting people know to carry a 3-5 litre bladder and that water is scarce on the trail. Other then that, the guides were awesome as were the fellow hikers.

Hidden Charges, Low Luxury
I haven’t yet gone on the trip, but I’m already regretting not doing a Flashpack instead. When I asked the price of adding a night to my first hotel stay, they quoted me 150% of the hotel’s online rate for the extra night. Similarly the price of their transfers were double the going rate. I received their list of items that I’m supposed to pack, which included 20 non-clothing items. Things like personal first aid kits, biodegradable bags, toilet paper, water purification supplies, etc. It made me wonder what I’m actually paying for. Clean water is high on my list of items tour guides should have available. Their website recommends leaving large tips for both your main guide as well as other guides. For what, exactly? For you to price gouge me and give me a long list of amenities you won’t be providing?
