Service gone downhill…
I’ve been to the pharmacy in market drayton 3 times to get repeat medication waiting a total of 2 hours to find my medication hasn’t been there. On the third visit they said they hadn’t got the stock delivered, however if I call then the phone line is constantly busy. I understand they may be understaffed which is a problem perhaps out of their control at the moment. I believe that they have just changed hands and a lot of staff appear to have left. However this means I’ve been without medication for 9 days now, this is the first time this has happened in 3 years of moving back to market drayton. I’ve now called the medical practise to see if I can get it from Boots instead. At the moment unfortunately i would have to say this is a poor service. I hope it changes fir the better soon!

Both myself & carer were in when attempted delivery made (was not told day it was being delivered) . we have 2 door bells ( one with a camera) & none were used. Card put through letter box to advise we were not in & to collect medication from Pharmacy. Tried to phone many times but phone constantly engaged. Have changed Pharmacy!
Don’t appreciate being shouted at
Calling for 3 hours back to back to be answered by a lady who shouted at me. Actually shouted.
I was told to call by my surgery and I regret having to deal with Murray’s. Can’t believe how rude. I have always been polite and courteous to telephone receptionists because I know they are so busy.
Waited and waited for assistance
Waited and waited for assistance, but busy behind talking to each other to at least acknowledge I am here. Tried to hand over a sharps box, but told they don't have a licence to disposal over 1kg go to your practice next door. Thanks for the long wait

Absolutely useless if I could give a zero I would , staff rude and arrogant don't answer the phone leave you standing unattended while they chat in the back takes them days to get a prescription ready I coul go on and on but don't have the energy by far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with
Useless
My partner placed a repeat prescription on the Friday morning, latest Murrays had the prescription was Monday. I went to Murrays the following Friday (About a week for it to be ready) After waiting 10min + for the sales person to finish trying to sell fragrances then deal with another customer I was finally told the prescription was not ready and to come back in half an hour ( Not a problem) I returned 40min later to be told that will have to order the drug in as they have run out and to maybe call a 17:00 to see if it is ready or return the next day. The drug is a generic migraine treatment nothing exotic. They had days to realise they had run out or were about to with current demand. This is not the first time I have had issues with this pharmacy. If you are new to area or visiting do yourself a favour and use one of the other 2 in Ludlow.
Murray's Pharmacy Cross St Dudley. Answer the phone
Murray's Pharmacy Cross St Dudley.
I have always had good service from the Pharmacy. But just lately they fail to answer the phone. How do I get to order medication or find out if it is being delivered.
Continual non answering of the phone becomes so frustrating and becomes a cause for concern. This needs addressing sooner rather than later.

I went to Murray’s pharmacy malthouse…
I went to Murray’s pharmacy malthouse drive Dudley to pick up a prescription least week, I waited in line and the older Asian lady serving told other members of staff she is telling everyone to wait 20 minutes for prescription. I got to the counter and she told me it’s not ready come back in 20 minutes so I waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes joined the line again to get my medication looking at the label on collecting it had been done and bagged 3 hours before, so the lady just couldn’t be bothered to look.
This week I was prescribed more antibiotics from the doctor went to Murray’s 6:45 pm to be told they haven’t been sent the prescription, I called the doctors receptionist 8am then next day and was told it has been sent the day before and Murray’s are lying to customer because they keep running behind.
Awful Rude staff member
Awful . The way Jane the assistant was shouting at people was disgusting. I know its a very stressful time but to shout at people like i heard today is appalling. Then to stand behind in the dispensing area shouting at her collegues that its too much making sure there arent more than 4 in..having to serve having to answer the phone having to fo everything else...well if its too much change your job. Where on earth was her manager ? I have never heard such a rude person on my life. Murrays get a grip train your staff in customer care. The poor lady she yelled at walked out in tears.

It is very difficult for everyone at the moment but there is no excuse for rude, abrupt treatment of fellow work colleagues. Sat waiting for a prescription and was appalled at how a female member of staff talked to a colleague - terrible.

Thurs.13th August-15.20 My 83 year old mother went into the St Johns chemist, on entering there is a large sign saying wear a mask BUT There was 1 man inside without a mask, another man came in neither wearing a mask & sat right next to the other gentleman in this very small and enclosed space with the door shut! A very rude lady working behind the counter with darkish hair also without a mask looked through my mother not even acknowledging her, my mother waited but got more anxious with the 2 gentlemen who sat close, one of them coughing, my mother turned round and went out due to the fear of Corona virus in this dangerous situation and will not be returning again. I went in after and exactly the same treatment from the lady behind the counter!Nobody bothered about masks or social distancing and the same lady working there nearly bit my head off in a very abrupt manner"What do you want"? This chemist is not abiding by the recently installed law to wear masks or keep 2 metre distance & ensure customer abide by this, which is frightening for an 83 year old lady with the current situation. People do not go to a chemist unless they are ill or in need of medication. This is the only place I have know such little care taken to ensure safety of its customers.(Kim )

Thank you to all for your inspirational efforts
These guys have worked tirelessly throughout an incredible difficult time and I know this because I have been very poorly and called on them time and time again where they have come up trumps every single time. Beverley is one name in particular that springs to mind who I can honestly say, if it wasn't for her and her fantastic efforts, going above and beyond, I might not be here to write this. So thank you Beverley and the amazing team that you are part of for all your efforts. Each one of you guys are worth your weight in gold along with the delivery team and deserve all the positive praise and recognition for working through COVID 19, putting themselves and their families at risk to help us.
Thank you so much

Must do better together.
We have used (3) Murrys Pharmacys, all within Worcester. The one we have an ongoing issue is Murrays Pharmacy [1091330] 35 Newtown Road Worcester WR5 1HG. Most of the staff are rude/sound stressed/unhelpful/dismissive. The other two Pharmacys are of good standard (last visit April 2017). The Pharmacy needs to sort out ensuring they have enough medications (especially for repeat prescriptions), a way to inform people if medication is extremely low and offer alternatives, clear communication with customers and GP Practices (ie if a 2mg tablet isn't available - contact the Practice for a 1mg tablet script especially for urgent medications. We are chronically ill/disabled. We are looking at using a different pharmacy when possible. It is a shame as there are some good members of staff but we have to give an honest review.
