Muscle crate had recently been taking over by different management, and it seemed to be working fine.
Orders were dispatched on time and the products weren't bad. You now get larger sample packs, which means few samples, this isn't necessarily bad but it opens room for contamination, incorrect labelling as I'm sure I've had the wrong product in a sample pack. A preworkout sample came and had already started hardening with it being exposed to air. There was an abundance of stimulant supplements and no option to have a stimulant free, which has lead me to cancelling.

Cancelling is an issue. The link no longer works, requiring you to contact customer service which isn't great. I asked for them to cancel my email and had no response for a week, which lead to another email to be told the link is faulty and they're working on it and that I should try the link in a few days. My reply to this was for them to cancel my subscription again (it isn't a big request) and I've yet to hear anything, but the website is now offline.

It's a shame, I actually love this concept.

Terrible company. Avoid at all costs

Scam company. You cannot contact them. But they will happily take your money.
They have been illegally spamming me with emails. I have put in a Subject Access Request under the GDPR Regulations but they ignore all communications.
I have started legal action to get a Take Down Request of their website

Poor customer service. When I tried to cancel my subscription, I was told to send an email to an address, which was responded with an automated email by 'zendesk' saying that a member of the team would respond back within 48 hours. This never happened and despite numerous emails, I have yet to speak to someone. Money is still regularly getting debited from my account.

Note: as its a recurring payment, rather than a direct debit, I had to go into the bank itself to cancel.

I would have considered giving Muscle Crate a positive review, right up until I attempted to cancel my subscription. I have now sent five emails to cancel my subscription over a four week period. Each time, I have received no response (except for an automated, 'we will respond to you within such and such a timeframe'), and the company has continued to take my money in the meantime.

I urge caution for anyone considering subscribing - the product is fine, but customer service is non-existent.

Terrible company won’t reply back to my emails it have been months and have sent my subscription to my old address even though my address was updated way before the post date.they are still currently trying to take more money from me even though I haven’t received my subscription. Massive scam of a company! Automatic emails reply says they can take up to 24 hour to email back but countless emails sent to them over months with no reply and they are still trying to take more money out of my account currently

Good idea managed by a 5 year old. I've been with them for 3 months, I couldn't log into my account once and their customer service is no existing, it took them 2 weeks to contact me back in a meantime I ask my bank to step in and get my money back and also cancel subscription. AVOID!

Advertise you can cancel anytime, but then will not cancel and keep trying to take your money. Contents of the box are worth nowhere near the advertised value. Avoid!!

Total Scam, cannot log in to website to cancel subscription, email to cancel and they make up new T&C regarding cancelling and take £32.95 this month not agreed £15.99. I will have to cancel my credit card to stop these thieves getting more money!

Website promises loads: full sized products and even equipment. End up with a box full of end of line samples and loads of cheap energy drinks.

Total scam. Have tried cancelling online - cannot. Emailed to cancel, they make up terms and conditions, when asked for links to this they never show them.

Have been forced to request my bank to refund me and cancel my bank card to stop these scammers taking any more money.

A direct debit attempt went out for £32.98 today despite me having no idea that the price went up from £22.98. Very unfortunate that I will no longer be using this service. If the price is genuinely 32.98 and the product hasn’t been updated this monthly cost is no longer worth it to me.

All the other 1* reviews highlight how they’ve made it difficult to cancel your direct debit, no way of doing it on the musclecrate account section. Big thumbs down for these guys.

Yes, I agree with all the poor reviews. Don't waste your time or money on this company. Wish I had checked before ordering.

Very meh, products definitely not in the range of £30 more like £12-£15 if that it's okay if it's on discount and you want a suprise but not too impressed with the contents, if you have the spare money go for it but its a waste imo, box came very fast though!

No response from customer service after randomly emailing me. Don’t use them!

Don’t believe the FAQ on their site which says cancel hassle free at any time. Tried to cancel, ignored for a week, phone number on the bank debit invalid, nothing but hassle.

Avoid using this company. I signed up for the subscription 18 months ago, and in fairness have been pleased with the products received each month. However, due to personal circumstances I wanted to cancel my subscription. Unlike most companies you’re unable to cancel this on their website and are required to email them. It’s now been over 3 weeks since my original email requesting cancellation, and have sent multiple follow ups, and have received absolutely no response. I have had to speak to my bank to request the payments be cancelled. High disappointing as I was previously happy with the products and was planning to re-subscribe in the future. However, I certainly won’t be doing that now after the appalling customer service provided.

Customer service is awful, you send an email and nothing, waited 4 weeks for a box, emailed asking where it was and nothing, emailed again and again, nothing, messaged on Instagram and nothing, commented on photos and my comments were removed.
Ended up cancelled my subscription but even that took 2 weeks! Then finally emailed back to say I had cancelled and asked my I was cancelling… maybe if they looked at their inbox they would know, and they didn’t even email to say the box was delayed.

no idea who they are but they keep emailing me saying thanks for being a customer, giving my codes for my new first box, and i never signed up, nor have i even heard of them!
