Do not ignore the negative reviews

Do not ignore the negative reviews - especially the longer ones as they are very accurate and not a one-off disgruntled customer.
We have move internationally 5 times, this is by far the worst. Our container stopped being followed for about 6 weeks (just parked up)... At the other of the over 6 month (!) journey this meant demurrage fees. Further Muvzilla had failed to blpay their freight forwarder debts so to avoid over $1000/day ooet detainment charges we paid 50% over and above our "full" service fee.

There is so much to type, but my simple advice is just take the slightly more expensive option, you'll regret going cheap (and then paying extra!) with Muvzilla. Expensive, stressful, and ultimately lots of damage.

A Moving Nightmare

A Moving Nightmare - NEVER USE MUVZILLA! Complete Neglect and Unprofessionalism

I deeply regret ever choosing Muvzilla for our family's move from Switzerland to Denmark—a decision that has caused us unimaginable stress, financial loss, and psychological trauma. Our experience with Muvzilla has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere.
From the start, Muvzilla outsourced our move to a Portuguese sub-contractor, Beleza, who turned out to be completely unreliable and unprofessional. Despite having paid Muvzilla in full before the move, our belongings were held hostage for two weeks because Muvzilla had outstanding debts to Beleza from a previous job. We were left in the dark, not knowing where our possessions were, with three small children (ages 1 to 6) to care for in a foreign country without any of our essential belongings. The stress and anxiety this caused our family, especially our children, were immense. My daughter had to start her first school year in a new country without any of her belongings—an experience no child should have to endure.
After receiving a tip from Muvzilla, I was finally able to locate our belongings in Denmark and had to contact the Danish moving and storage company myself. In desperation, I had to pay an additional fee out of pocket to ensure our goods were delivered. This was after Muvzilla completely abandoned their responsibilities, leaving us to deal with the fallout. Muvzilla consistently pushed away their responsibilities toward us, failing to negotiate with their own sub-contractor, Beleza, or ensure that our belongings were delivered by the Danish company.
When our belongings finally arrived, the state of the packing was beyond disgraceful. Precious family heirlooms, including valuable silverware and important artworks, were thrown into boxes without any protection. To make matters worse, we received items that didn’t even belong to us, adding to the chaos and confusion.
The head of the Danish moving and storage company, who has over 20 years of experience, was shocked at the unprofessional packing job and commented that they had "never seen anything like this" in their entire careers. The conditions in which our belongings arrived were so appalling that we have yet to fully unpack, fearing further damage or loss.
Muvzilla's blatant disregard for their contractual obligations is unacceptable. They failed to itemize our goods, properly unload and check the inventory, and provide the unpacking, reassembly, and debris removal services that were promised. We have been left to do all of this ourselves, adding insult to injury.

Despite multiple attempts to contact Muvzilla for the €1,500 they still owe us, we have received no response. This company has shown a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency. They have not only caused us significant financial loss but have also inflicted severe emotional distress on our family.

Muvzilla is a company that should be avoided at all costs. Their incompetence and neglect have made what should have been a straightforward move into a traumatic ordeal. I hope this review serves as a warning to others—do not trust Muvzilla with your move, or you may find yourself in a situation as devastating as ours.

Horrible

Please note that we were fully insured and still no reimbursement months later.
Horrible, as in one star is a bit too high of a rating! I am not one to give bad reviews. The few reviews I have ever posted were positive and in support of businesses. It is hard to express just how much stress my family has gone through because of this company. Our household goods were to be delivered in the beginning of August. It was mid October before we received delivery and that was only after we agreed to take our shipment with mold and damage with their promise that once we sorted out the damaged items ourselves that we would be compensated. That has still not happened and it is January now. My dining room set complete with china cabinet table and six chairs, complete bedroom set, and a leather couch were all molded/torn or with hunks of wood missing and scratched. Plus several TVs , vases, dishes, platters , glasses, crystal, picture frames, large plant pots all smashed! Our family only had the clothes in our suit case and it was starting to get cold. We were literally sleeping on mattresses on the floor with camping chairs eating off paper plates. Eventually, we caved when we realized just how ineptly the situation was being managed.and started buying things needed for daily living and clothes,so we wouldn’t freeze. These were items that we already owned, but were being held in some warehouse while months rolled by with no solutions offered. It was a endless circle of stupidity and incompetence!! A total lack of consideration for our family . My kids were having to deal with the adjustment of an international move. Relocating to a new country and school are hard enough. They had to start the school year without any of their personal items that bring comfort and make a new place seem like home. I will add again that we have still not been reimbursed for their failures or for the thousands upon thousands of dollars of damages to our household goods.
