Many people were dissatisfied with the app, perceiving its design and monetization strategy as predatory or misleading, rather than genuinely facilitating connections. Customers frequently reported issues with the subscription model, including unexpected charges after cancellation and the constant need to pay for basic features even with a premium membership. This app is a complete scam

This app is a complete scam. Many men on Muzz are aggressive, and verbally abusive if you don’t reply within minutes, they start insulting or threatening you. Most are married with kids, and many are just looking for a visa or trying to scam women. There’s no real support, no safety, and no accountability. The app feels like it was built to exploit people, not connect them. Stay away for your own emotional and financial safety.

Warning to users

Warning to users: Muzz refuses to approve refund requests even after Apple confirms they need authorization from the app. No support, no value, no honesty. Be careful.

I communicated with them as I have used them before and I deleted my account my self this time they told me my account is blocked why? They did not explained and they have ignored my email and my messages to them. As very bad customer service every app or website when they cut Some one of for a reason if he or she was violating their policy they have the right to do that and I have met people on that app they don’t behave well also others they ask for money now in spite of all that bad customer service they need to learn. How to treat customers You have blocked my account and you have not responded to my email I am no longer interested in Muzz.com or whatever you app is. Any how I would like to delete my photos and my account as you did not give me any explanation on any violations is committed on my account to be block why ? Not sure because it’s your Dagon app you can do anything with it. This is my 3rd email to you and have not heard back from you. All I need is my photo deleted and my account and neither. Me nor my friends and family will be using it anymore. I would make sure I comment about this.

Total disappointment and terrible customer service. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

I’ve been dealing with this app for months: overpriced subscription, charges after cancellation, a profile I can’t edit, and unresolved support tickets. Their customer service is a joke—inconsistent answers, different agents every time, and half-baked solutions. Unacceptable!

They promise *halal* connections, but it’s just a disguised *Tinder*. I suggested improvements (like a "with/without makeup" filter), and they didn’t even acknowledge them. Even as a *Gold* member, the filters don’t work. Their marketing is slick, but the app is a scam—they care more about money than bringing people together.

It’s infuriating how they play with people’s emotions. Seeing the negative reviews on Trustpilot confirmed I’m not alone. Brothers and sisters, beware! These low ratings are no coincidence. If anyone plans to boycott or take legal action, count me in. Muzz doesn’t deserve your time or money. Salamualaikum!!

Blocked Without Explanation – No Support as a Paying User

Title: Blocked Without Explanation – No Support as a Paying User

I subscribed to Muzz with a Gold membership because I believed in what the app stands for. Unfortunately, my account was permanently blocked without any detailed explanation. I reached out multiple times to support, asking for clarification or a chance to resolve it, but I only received automated responses.

As a paying customer, I expected at least one real conversation before being completely cut off. I even tried to appeal respectfully and offered to cooperate fully, but was ignored.

If a user violates rules, there should be a transparent process — especially for someone who paid for a subscription. I’ve now requested a refund through Apple, and I hope Muzz takes accountability for how they handle banned accounts.

I’ve loved Muzz and was even a Gold subscriber, but my account was permanently blocked without a clear explanation. I’ve tried to reach out and ask for help respectfully, but have not been heard. I would appreciate if someone from Muzz could look into this personally.

Massive Security and privacy issue

Please do not use this site to protect your own privacy and security and your emotional wellbeing. Over a period of 7 days, the matches 95% of them live abroad and the ones who do live here in uk are either too young or too old. Many members prefer not to have a photo when interacting, so you have no idea who you are talking with. The question is, if you do decide to meet with one of the members, you have no idea what she even looks like, as no description of her anywhere which is huge privacy and security concerns. This is a toxic site, do not use for your own safety. They also have a social page full of absolutely toxic people who would consistently put others down in more than one way either by your appearance, your earnings, or even your job. The guys on there are cowards, because they have the front to put others down, and purposely without a photo. That's not courage, that's cowardness in plain sight. Then suddenly you start questioning your own worth. It is absolutely toxic. If I can give less than one star, I would be delighted to do so. Waste of £29.99.

Wasting time and money

I am a Gold member and would like to share my honest feedback regarding one of the premium feature, sending compliments.

To be frank, I’m quite disappointed with this feature. I've used a number of compliments, only to find that many of them were either dismissed or never responded to. Considering that each compliment costs nearly the same as a meal, it feels like a significant waste, especially when there’s no meaningful interaction resulting from it.

Furthermore, I suspect that some users I’ve sent compliments to may no longer be active on the app. This only adds to the frustration, as I’m spending credits with no realistic chance of engagement.

To make this more fair and user-friendly, I suggest that compliments which are either ignored after a certain period or explicitly dismissed should have credits refunded. This would greatly help reduce the sense of disappointment and waste, especially when we're investing in premium features expecting some level of engagement.

Honestly, it’s disheartening to see compliments dismissed, and even more so knowing that the credits used are gone with nothing in return.

I hope Muzz considers improving this aspect of the experience for its paying users.

They call themselves a Muslim-owned…

They call themselves a Muslim-owned company, which apparently means they think they can treat us poorly. I paid for premium, and they decided to block access to their app from my phone, yet they didn’t close my profile. Now, my profile is still active with my photos, and I can’t delete it.

I contacted them and even offered to verify my identity on video, but they replied that they don’t wish to continue corresponding with me, after taking my money.

I’m pretty sure the GDPR does not allow a company to hold someone’s personal information like this. I will be taking this further.

It’s always our own people doing us the worst. If they were catering to non-Muslims, I’m pretty sure their customer service would be better. What a sham of a company.

Anti Islamic platform pretending to be Islamic dating app. Loads of fake profiles and very weird and sick agendas circulating supported by very strange feminist rules. Total waste of time to interact with many psychologically challenging individuals.

Nobody serious on there?

Nobody serious on there?? Fake profiles, married people, non muslims, unserious men and straight up disrespectful men. I don’t get how this is not being monitored/ moderated. Everyday I get more and more disappointed this is fully ruining my perception of the men in our community. Why are people getting disappointed that I’m expecting marriage on a Muslim matchmaking app?
