While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

MWAPI.DEV — STAY AWAY!

MWAPI.DEV — STAY AWAY! MISLEADING PRICING AND ZERO TRANSPARENCY!
What a joke of a service!
They sell you $500 in API credits, making it look like an incredible deal. Then you discover that the ONLY available option charges 5 TIMES the standard API rates!
No alternatives. No cheaper plans. No real choice.
And it gets worse.
I connected Claude Code and sent ONE ridiculously simple prompt:
"Reply with exactly HELLO."
Guess what? 46,222 INPUT TOKENS AND $0.69 CHARGED FOR ONE WORD!
Seriously?! What the hell am I paying for?!
And nobody clearly explains where those tokens came from. No meaningful transparency about caching or what you're actually being billed for.
Model selection? Another disappointment!
They advertise multiple AI providers, but my account is restricted to a handful of Claude models. Forget about GPT, Gemini, or image generation.
Security? Good luck trusting that!
Your prompts and potentially your entire project's source code pass through an unknown third-party server. Who operates it? What happens to your data? Where are the trustworthy privacy guarantees?
Would you trust confidential commercial code to this setup? I certainly wouldn't!

I'm not claiming they deliberately inflate tokens or steal data — I can't prove that. But the pricing tricks, unexplained usage, limited options, and complete lack of transparency are more than enough to destroy my trust.
$500 IN CREDITS SOUNDS GREAT UNTIL YOU REALIZE HOW LITTLE CONTROL YOU ACTUALLY HAVE.
Save yourself the frustration.
I REGRET BUYING THIS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MWAPI.DEV.
