Auto Guard is a complete scam, don’t make the same mistake I did.
I filed a claim that fell clearly within the stated terms of my policy. It was denied.
I disputed the denial, and the reasons given were vague, speculative, and unconvincing. There was several emails exchanged.
When I tried to speak with someone directly about something this significant, I was told it was “impossible” to be connected with the relevant department; yet somehow, when they want to sell you a policy or collect a payment, a human is available immediately.
This is a company that is accessible when it benefits them and unreachable when it benefits you.
My advice: take that $129/month and put it into an ETF or a dedicated savings account. Build your own buffer. At least that money will actually be there when you need it.
Do your research, thoroughly, before signing up with any extended warranty company. Read the reviews. The warning signs are there if you look.

My policy was cancelled due to manger stating if I got a upgrade it would not effect my current account as my car was put in the shop that morning I asked repeatedly if things would change if so I stated I would decide to wait until the car gets fixed and upgrade later he assured me coverage would overlap and things would be fine, policy termination next day while car is at mechanic .so who pays?

Being trying to cancel since purchasing and been getting run around when I was told it would be no problem to do . And yet not done always getting a change that needed to be made in sending emails for which I sent 8. Then who ever has to make decision is always in a meeting or gone to lunch and told to call back next day I have made 12 phone calls and continue to get runaround.
If this isn’t resolved soon I will have to get it disputed by credit card issuer.
I hope it can get resolved soon.

I'm a retired GM mechanic. In the past year, I replaced all 4 of the O2,sensors. Radiator, alternator, and front grill. I'll be buying new tires this summer. And I also installed the front strut, and I had an alignment done.

You stole money from me u lied about the policy told me one thing then charged me for two policies then an hour later u called back saying u couldn’t offer me any of the policies and still owe me $100.00 back that u haven’t returned yet. I’m calling my back claiming fraud against your company

The salesman did not tell me the truth. He canceled my existing plan and started me a new one that over all was more costly and the coverage was not much better.

To be honest, I thought that I was calling ox car care and it wasn't until after I paid the down payment to get it started the customer service rep transferred me to a representative to go over the coverage and that's when it was introduced as auto guard and I called back to be sure that I was calling ox car care and that's when it was told that ask car care was no longer. AUTO GUARD took over still a little uneasy because that raised the red flag to me, but I am going to give it a try hopefully I don't have a difficult time in trying to find auto dealers that accept it but overall the customer service was great. The representative went over all the details very low down payment to get started $45 and the monthly payment is low as well.

The Salesperson misrepresented the warranty terms. 1. He failed to mention the 1,000 mile waiting period. 2. He stated the deductible was $200 when that is the MINIMUM for the first year and is actually 30% of the cost of the repair. 3. Even though I mentioned it numerous times, the Salesperson did not include the Lift Kit for my handicap conversion van in the quote or contract. I AM CANCELING THIS WARRANTY.
