My Buena Vida 

As previous reviewers have said; SCAM. I bought a couple of bracelets from their web shop and didn't engage in a monthly subscription that is the standard choice when shopping from them. A few months later they withdrew 20 USD from my credit card, money that a couple of months later still haven't been refunded. I've had numerous contacts via email with their customer service. They say that the money will be refunded and that the problem is due to problems with IT. been an IT. In my book: all lies, since I haven't been refunded yet. Stay away!

SCAM! Do not order from this company. You will get billed $20 a month even if you sign up for a one time offer. They Never answer the phone and the email response is automated. My daughter signed up for the $1, one time offer. I have now been charged $40 dollars and had to cancel my credit card to keep them continuing to charging monthly fees on it. They blamed all this on a IT glitch which they have been working on for over 5 months now. I have been waiting for 5 months for them to send a refund check, which every time I check back is, "on its way". They are using charity and the environment to SCAM people. Very sad.

Same experience as others, though thankfully not as expensive as some. I bought two bracelets last year as a one off through their "free bracelet only pay shipping" offer, then immediately cancelled the subscription. I got the bracelets, all was well. Then some 9 months later, an unauthorised amount comes out of my account. I emailed to query it and got a speedy reply from Chris that it was a subscription charge. I pointed out I wasn't signed up to the subscription service, and explained the details. Funnily enough, no quick replies after that. I should be able to block them and get my money back through my bank, but they're obviously a bunch of scam artists. Do they even do any charitable work? Probably not.

I saw one really pretty bracelet on their Instagram and it was free except for shipping. I bought it and when I received it kind of disappointed me, it just wasn’t really what I expected and fit too big. The worst part was that Buena Vida started charging me automatically for me to buy new bracelets every week or two for up to $12 or so. I now have five Buena Vida bracelets sitting around my house that I’m never going to wear. I did eventually cancel the subscription but it was impossible to find and it took me multiple emails to reach them. 100% DO NOT recommend.

Totally Scam they started charging my credit card without my authorization

This company is a fraud, scam. I order one year ago a bracelet and they didnt send anything, didnt return my money also.

Worst one year later guess what, they charge my credit card with no authorisation at all. I send them an email but until today they didnt return my money, is not the amount but the abusive actitud and dangerous from this company.
A woman which name is eugenia Alvarado always said in the next few days will return the money and always fail.

Do not by anything from them and do not give the any credit card .

I have all the document to prove this company is a scam.

What a sham of a company , AVOID !!! If I could give no stars I would , They offer you a free bracelet and all you pay for is postage , what they don't tell you is they subscribe you to a monthly membership and you pay a month membership fee and they take the money from your bank without you're permission , I had to go through paypal to cacel my membership and get my money back they took without my knowledge . They said it was in their terms and conditions but they don't tell you this when they advertise the free bracelet .
Disgusting company and shouldn't be allowed to trade .

Never order from this place it’s a scam. They constantly change their customer service number it is disconnected. They charge your credit card telling you subsribed on a monthly fee. They send you a bull email stating subscription is canceled. Then they continue to charge your credit card. Customer service non existant number is valid one day the other day it’s disconnected. Bunch of crooks cannot beleive they are in business. Oh and if you check them out they blocked comments on Instagram hmm I wonder why? They don’t want other people to know the truth of how they make their money.

We searched for the scratch off map and ordered it directly. A few months later we received bracelets for the first time. We didn't open the package. We didn't know we had a subscription and had to pay $19,99 a month!
I cancelled the subscription at the site in January. MyBuenaVida didn't bring $ 19,99 in February, but in March they collect $ 19,99 again! Unbelieveble! What a fraud.

Just shocking that such a scamming webshop retains online and just keeps withdrawing money without permission, even after unsubscribing several times.
Charity? Yeah right, just filling their own pockets with stolen money!

Utter CROOKS! Taking money out of my account without my permission with the fineprint in the terms and conditions. that is NOT how you do charity. NOT by taking money out from people's account when they purchase an item. You turds have cost me a lot of money. BURN IN HELL!

they pulled money from my account too and now I am having to order a new card just so that they no longer have my account information. They don't even respond to the emails I've sent, so ridiculous. MAJOR SCAMMERS, don't fall for it guys :(

I just finished filing a fraud/scam report for it, hopefully something will be done. If you ladies have been involved in this scam I recommend filing a fraud/scam report as well so that they can be informed that it's an issue! :)

Scam. Do not get involved with this company. They charge you even after you unsubscribe and keep charging you. Also they do not clearly state that they will keep charging you every month. It is probably hidden in fine print somewhere in terms. Completely unethical . Hope they get shut down .

Scam! No phone number on website, at least not one that is easy to find. I keep all my cancellation emails in a folder. I was unaware this was a subscription service that my daughter asked me to buy bracelets for her from. I found the emails from 11 months ago, where I unsubscribed, cancelled, and was refunded. YES 11 months ago I cancelled! Yet here I am still getting charged. I forwarded the emails to the customer service email listed on their website with a note saying they have made a mistake and they need to credit my account the $20 they just took. When I found the old emails there was a phone number on them. When I called it said the number was no longer in service. Now I have to cancel my debit card where all my automatic payments come out of and get a new one. So tired of these scam companies. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I received my bracelets in a timely manner. I am also signed up for the monthly subscription bracelet. I love what these guys do in helping animals all over.

What a shame this company "My Buena Vida" can be so low down and sneaky. A 'One-off Purchase' made May 2017 for a $1.99 bracelet with postage $9 and an email of confirmation that no subscription sign up took place. A gift for my 10-year-old, that broke 1 a week later after getting it.

10 months later after original purchase, had my visa debited for $25.78 from these thieves.

Numerous emails, no other way to contact them, copy of transaction from my account sent to them and nothing! Have had to contact my bank to block them but cannot because I used my visa. They now have my details and I've had to cancel the whole card. Very frustrating as I have so many other things that are regularly debited from that card.

Don't buy anything from this company. My fiance bought me a scratch off map and a bracelet from this company. They set it but they're really crappy quality and they signed him up automatically for a subscription without any warning. After canceling this subscription immediately (and never getting any money back), he was just charged 4 months later after he already had confirmation that he was unsubscribed. He is now having to call his bank and ban any charges from this company and filed with the better business bureau to see if he can get any money back. I bet this company doesn't even donate to charities at all.

I bought some bracelets a while ago when they were on sale and I didn't even realize that when I was entering my credit card information, I was signing myself up for a stupid membership that costs $20 A MONTH! I canceled this membership immediately after I found out it charged me, and the company confirmed my cancellation...but just today I found that they charged me AGAIN after I had already canceled almost a year ago.

These people are SCAMMERS, and I hope they get shut down for good. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Just like so many other posts that I have read...we cancelled our subscription almost one year ago...and today noticed a charge on our card for $19.99. I am sure this is somehow unlawful, as I don't think that they are allowed to hold on to credit card numbers. Bad business. Cancelling our cards Monday since its the weekend and going to try to dispute the charges.
