I had a very poor experience with a…

I had a very poor experience with a travel representative, "JL" from the Cost Construct team supporting the US DOS. He booked me on a 36-hour itinerary with over $1,800 in out-of-pocket costs, without being offered alternative options complaint with Fly America Act or informed of my right to request a waiver at no additional cost to the USG. The flight entailed me Fly from the PHL to Seattle then to Doha Qatar to BKK. I repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor and was ignored each time. I am escalating this with an email to Department heads and CWT HQ in MN. As someone traveling on official government orders, I expected more transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy. -KG

Simply the worst

My company has been using them for years, anything you can think of that you wouldn't want them to do, I have likely experienced at one time or another. Thankfully my company is moving away from them but today they gave me their final parting shot of: 1. not listing the flight I wanted online despite the carrier (KLM) listing the flight. This happens all the time! 2. I was on the CWT app chat to book this for 30 mins, just when I thought it was done they say 'you flight is not booked, contact us to book it'.....then left the chat. Great, thanks!

Abysmal

Abysmal. CWT is scraping out its margin though providing low service and limited options at a higher price. It ends up more expensive than booking with the airline directly and it's endlessly painful. 40 minutes with rude agents to change a flight.

Rude Agent

Not helpful at all. The agents cut me off twice, first one due to connection and the second one was raising his voice at me. They were rude and one of the agents was yelling at me and calling me rude just because I told him about Air Canada policy that has 24 hours cancellation policy where the customer entitled for a full refund, and mentioning he has 10 years of working experience in this industry (?) They charged me 300 dollars for cancelling my flight and when I called Air Canada to confirm, the airline told me that I was supposed to receive the full refund.

Wouldn’t recommend myCWT to anyone. If I could give a negative rating to them I would.

Poor booking

Poor booking, you’ll get the longest inconvenient route to your destination after you notify them to prevent delayed airports. Be prepared to wait at least two hours to start the back and fourth game with the airline company and CWT.

The online portal is just terrible

The online portal is just terrible. Can't modify flights once they are booked. Can't cancel flights once they are booked. Online CS cancelled the flight for me but it still showed on my trips preventing me from booking another flight as it said I already had one! Online CS had to book another flight for me, but it's not showing up on the site! Can't book a car as the page goes blank - online CS got the same problem and told me to try later. I hate using their awful system.

CWT is pure nightmare

CWT is pure nightmare. They completely screwed my order, due to their late reaction cost of my ticket raised by 1300€. Then offered me another ticket for 568€ but normal price was 117€. And then they charged me 29€ PER ticket - and because I complained about the 568€ they charged another 10€ for change. Can you believe this? It is completely insane how bad it could be. And so frustrating as our corporate is making usage of this crap mandatory. All this misery is multiplied by another evil named CONCUR... shot me please, I do not want to live any longer...

Terrible service

Terrible service. Every time I call or on-line chat to make changes to my travel plan, it takes at least an hour. And often times, you will have to make a second call or email because they did the opposite of what you asked for.

If you are looking for the expensive and bad service

If you are looking for the expensive and bad service - you came the exactly right place.

Our University requires us to book plane tickets and hotel through CWT. If we book on our own they will not refund us.

Basically it works like that: you go on momondo or google flight and find the best cheapest flight. Then you call CWT and ask them to book it for you - they do that flight for you but they will not find it at the same price but 20-35% more expensive plus the CWT service fee!

For the hotels: you ask them to book at hotel for you and spell out the hotel name, they will book a wrong one anyway. And they impolitely tell you that you were unspecific.

I appreciate your service!

Really nice consultants, they've followed my advice that on the flights that were the most applicable regarding the hours and airports of departure and destination, the business class is actually cheaper than the economy. They've managed to provide what I've needed, together with the seats I've preferred (window seats, first or second row) and a special meal. 5/5 well deserved!

useless web/app/Chatbot booking

tried to make flight booking via CWT web, prohitbited by company policy, no explaination. then via Chatbot,it take 10-hours for any single responds,tried the hotline which direct me to voice mail. i sent an email to the company, and it took 24 hours for the first email reply. then a lady called, and said she will find someone to call me and help,and explain online/Chatbot/phone booking charges different. What an answer. it's been 48hours since i tried to make a simple HK to Taiwan sameday return trip. which can be done via any other APP in 5mins.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I booked a corporate trip with them, received a confirmation email from CWT only to learn a week later that "because of unknown circumstances" my ticket has not been booked and the price has increased. I contacted the customer service to explain, that there was no fault from me and was told that I should have contacted them when I didn't receive an E-Ticket within 4 hours. The result is that I have to pay the increased price for the ticket. I don't understand the value CWT provides if I have to keep an eye on receiving an E-Ticket, after having already received a confirmation email for the trip. This has overall been a waste of time and money for me. I will never book with them again.

stay away, horrible customer experience

My company contracts with them, absolutely the worst!!!! No one picks up the calls. All i wanted was to modify my flight. I called the number provided, was on hold for 2 hours; i hung up, tried calling the airline myself but was advised they cant make changes. I called my company and was advised to send an email. I sent an email, got a response after 2 business days and was asked to call to provide my payment. Another 30 mins already and no one picked up, just hung up since i dont have time to waste. I dont know how they are in business, they should close.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience booking corporate travel through CWT. Call hold time is 45 minutes to over an hour. Three of the four individuals I spoke to were extremely rude and unable or unwilling to help with something another agent told me to call in and do. I wish I wasn’t forced to use CWT due to my corporate policy. TERRIBLE experience.
