myDRIVESCHOOL Australia: Refund given but poor support experience

I purchased the Pre-P Driving simulation program from myDRIVESCHOOL to practice driving and gain confidence. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get past Module 1 because my steering wheel (PXN V3 Pro) wasn’t compatible.

There was no mention of supported wheels during the purchase process, and when I tried to access the support page, it returned a “Page Not Found” error. I emailed multiple times with no reply. When I eventually called, they already knew the issue, which suggests they had seen my emails but didn’t respond.

I was told that adding support for my wheel would be expensive and there was no timeframe for a fix. After I followed up again, I was told the wheel wasn’t high enough quality and would “negatively impact our brand/software.”

I did eventually receive a refund, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. There was no apology for the missing compatibility information or the broken support page, and the tone of the response felt dismissive.

If you're considering this program, make sure your steering wheel is on their supported list. If their support page is still broken and if the website still doesn’t clearly show that information, contact them before purchasing.
