I used MyFax (very easy to use) one time and then cancelled my account online thru their website. I have cancelled my fax account 2 different times and I just FINALLY got the cancellation email 3 days ago. I contacted Customer Service - thru website and emails but they couldn't answer my question "did you get my cancellation notice from the website?". I also just got charged for July - when I cancelled (for 2nd time) in June. VERY BAD customer service and VERY bad cancellation procedure. AND the phone number on their customer service page goes to some WEIRD voice/man not affiliated with the program. Their "live Chat" didn't work either - kept asking more and more personal identification questions so I stopped using. BIG TIME RIP OFF and I'm not sure they aren't selling my info.
UPDATE: I saw the reply from MyFax (same as the reply to another reviewer with the same Cancellation problem). The problem is that they DO have a phone number listed on their Customer Service Page: Toll Free 866-378-2373 that went to some Rando. AND they apparently don't have the correct email listed on their either. They replied with a different email than the one listed on their webpage: Email: supportATmyfaxdotcom. Weird

Ive been getting ripped off by this company for years. I didnt know we were still being charging by this credit card until may of 2024. Here it is May of 2025 and they are still charging me $16 a month for a service I only used twice back in 2015. Thats well over $1600. I STILL HAVENT FOUND AWAY TO CANCEL THEM. THEY DONT ANSWER THEIR PHONE! IF YOU CANT LOG IN YOU CANT CANCEL THEM. MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY WONT STOP PAYING THEM. I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM AND CANCELING MY CREDIT CARD OVER A YEAR DOESNT MATTER THEY JUST KEEP TAKING MY MONEY I HATE DOING REVIEWS. THIS COMPANY DESERVES 0 STARS. YOU CANT CONTACT THEM TO CANCEL EITHER.

This company lies. They explain that you can cancel at any time and you can do it yourself. That is a lie. They do not answer any of their phone lines. You cannot cancel yourself via the "billing" tab as they claim. They have customer service numbers listed but all the phone and directories are out of service. I'm reporting these scammers to the FBI and my bank. They've been taking money and bouncing my account while making it an anxiety-filled process to cancel. Oh, and when you cancel your account they keep all of your personal billing information! Nice!

I've been a customer for over a decade. For the first time, I had an overage on my page allowance, in part because I kept trying to resend faxes before getting the (un)successful transmission email. Kelley understood what happened and waived my overage fees. I deeply appreciated her actions and I plan to remain a customer for another decade.

Been using them since 2010. The system is not working for last six months. They stopped taking phone calls, they think they can send a email link and I will go away. Finally chatted on line , they tell me nothing is wrong. Sure, as long as they keep getting paid nothing is wrong for them.i will look for a new app for my faxes. These people have a great future behind them.

Join company to send fax very easy, charged 5.00 intially then 12 per month.
When I went to fax document fax would not go thru. Tried to fax a few times, still no success, when I look at bank activity they had charges an additional 30 dollars for service I didnt received. Next day tried calling and they have no phone rep to speak with and disconnects call. They advise you to email and send you a generic automated email, then advised you to live chat and only have issue not related to billing discrepancy. This company is a scam. Do not use them. I will go to better business bureau and other avenues to report them

I've had this service for over 5 years and it worked great trouble is I quit needing it two years ago tried to cancel it didn't have any luck trying to cancel it again no luck can't get anybody to cancel it for me chat won't work for me because my email has changed I can't cancel it online I can't cancel my debit card because it's attached to too many other bills and you cannot reach anybody on the phone unless you act like a new customer I got a new customer agent Mrs Charles she said somebody would call me immediately for sure to get this canceled no such luck I have tried to call back left more messages no luck now this has been 2 years I've been trying to cancel this can't get it done if anybody reads this from my fax please ask Miss Charles for my phone number and help me get this canceled thank you.

It meets our needs overall.
That said, we did run into an issue—partly due to our own oversight. Our account went a month overdue because our company credit card expired, and we were in the process of switching to a new credit card company entirely. We're still updating our payment info across various subscriptions. Unfortunately, we only discovered there was an issue with MyFax when we were suddenly unable to log in.
According to their chat agent, they send out emails every 5 days about declined payments. However, as the account admin, I didn’t see any of these notifications (not in my inbox, junk, etc)
We were able to regain access through chat, restart the subscription, and pay the outstanding balance plus a late fee. The main problem is that MyFax had already deleted all of our account history. Since we used this service for HR and medical transmits, losing that data is a major inconvenience. While we do have digital copies of most of it, this service was part of our paper trail. I could understand deleting data after six months of inactivity but doing so after just one month of a failed payment feels excessive.
Again, we acknowledge this was partly our mistake. But the lack of notification and the permanent data deletion policy are tough.

Tried to cancel my service. My account did not have a link to cancel online, so I attempted to do it through the Chat feature.
Terrible service. Waited 44 minutes before I could get a human. They keep asking the same questions over and over…even though the Chat history is right there. Ashraf Q will ask a question, then disappear for 10 minutes.
Beware of any promises you see on the web site about great service. I have canceled my auto pay as that is my only recourse. After 55 minutes I got a message that no agents are available and the Chat closed.

As soon as I hit the CHAT box a bot immediately came on. But, it asked me a couple of short questions and quickly got me to a live agent, Chris. Chris went straight to work on my issue and resolved it SO quickly!
