Do not waste your time with this…
Do not waste your time with this terrible company! My flight was delayed for 17 hours ( last july) without a valid reason . After 5 months , the reply was that they won’t be able to get me a refund because Turkish airlines said there was thunderstorms in Göteborg which isnt true! The weather was great .

Thank you for your review. We have been through a rigorous process of investigating what happened during your particular delayed flight. We received an internal report that states that the flight was delayed due to thunderstorms near Gothenburg. This report has no connection to the airline and is strictly for internal use. We can also see that the weather was bad due to the intensity of rain and the wind gust levels. Unfortunately, it is not possible to receive compensation through EU-regulation 261/04 when the delay is due to bad weather conditions."
We are very sorry, that we you were not entitled to any compensation for your delay. We have completely the same incentive as you to win your case, however that is not always possible.

The airlines can be very particular about documentation, f.inst that power-of-attorneys are correctly signed, and other documents are available.
We needed the complete travel plan from you to start the case, but it was first after talking to you on the phone that you understood, what we needed. We apologize for not being clear form the beginning. There was also an issue with the Power-of-Attorney's as they were signed with your initials and not your full names.
Fortunately the result was positive, and we are pleased that you received your compensation.
