A joke ?!

What is this? Some sort of joke or prank? You call yourself a “financial technology company,” yet you don’t even provide a live chat option where I could explore other ways to verify my “residence permit.” Instead, I’m expected to call you, just to discuss what? My last eight years in the UK? Or perhaps the weather? Please, be serious. It’s bad enough that you’re already navigating the financial waters alongside other major players, don’t stoop to this “small fish” game, pretending to be professional.
Also, the user interface design and onboarding screen seem to be struggling to get attention. The color choices (are you trying to sell limes or what?!), the oversized lock icon, and the “Create New Account” and “Log In” buttons are they enemies? That lock animation is too distracting.
You guys need a better UI and UX design for this. It feels unprofessional and made me skeptical about it.
Take it how you want it, but the truth stays here for now 🫡
And do something about that icon as well, it looks like a martian.Unless this app is meant to change currency on Mars

I have only good things to say about MyGuava

I have been reading other reviews some of which are negative. Personally, I have only good things to say about MyGuava. The app works well and sending money abroad couldn't be easier. The exchange rate has been very competitive so far. Keep it going MyGuava!

Worst service ever

They blocked my account and took my £730. I have been changing emails and calls for the past 2 months and their replays say same thing. Under review.. team working on it.. been escalated.. but nothing happened. I am in a big trouble now because of them. Cannot believe with all those bad reviews they are still open and authorized by the government!

Edit: They unblocked my account and i got my money back after 2 months

genuine referral rejected

I signed up yesterday using my friend’s referral link for the Share & Earn £50 scheme. My friend said she hasn’t been credited the referral. I went on chat. First MyGuava Agent1 said they don’t have a referral scheme. Sent them screenshots, the link I used to download the app, the name of my referrer. I got shunted on to MyGuava Agent2 then shunted back to MyGuava Agent1 who has referred it to the relevant team for review and resolution. Meantime, they have told my friend it’s not a valid referral. I did exactly what the terms stated I should do, ‘download the myguava application using the invitation link [I] received’ from my friend. My friend has had to lodge a complaint. I’ll revise my review if they see sense. As it stands we are being cheated out of £50.
UPDATE: MyGuava flatly refused to acknowledge the referral so I’ve closed my account.

My third review on this, they deleted my last review as well. They took my money its been 3 months they deleted my account and every time i send them an email or call them they say the same thing that my account is under review. Everyone be aware they will take your money if you open an account with them.

Closed my account for no reason holding my hard earned money hostages for 4 months called, emailed 15+ times each with no response from them or they keep giving me the same excuse “the team is looking into it” how can the team be looking into my account for 4 months. I lost my job because of this and I’ve had to relay on my credit card for these past 4 months and it has been so stressful couldn’t even get Christmas presents for my family. Got an email from them at 23.46 in the night why are they sending me emails in the middle of the night ? The email just said we are closing your account and can’t discuss why. What a stupid and ridiculous statement after locking my account for 4 month and that’s the only thing you can say!!!! Worst bank ever. DO NOT USE. They will ruin your life

Do not waste your time with myguava

Do not waste your time with myguava, deal with a reliable cie.
Just trying to get a direct answer to a simple question nearly impossible.
Ask them (chat) how much it will cost to send via a transfer from a Canadian bank to myguava app for cash pickup in Mexico 30000Mxn (Mx pesos)?
WI Remitly and Ria were able to give a clear answer but not myguava…

this comapany is truly nuts

this comapany is not good , trust me signed up today first time useing these, they kept my money had to beg for over 7 hours to get it back. No explantion nothing pure crap. worse ever . got my money back, put in £165.00 got back £162.52. Really amazed and shocked of my treatment as a first time customer to there business. treated like this talking to a chatbot for over 8 hours, talked on the phone guy not really interested liked hearing me beg for my own money back.one star is generous, i could go on and on but thats enough, complete joke our scam who knows ??????????????

George the company rep is great, I was passed his details from a friend and he was incredibly helpful. The rates are brilliant, customer service is fab and the machine itself is great and very easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

I found Gexeorge by accident..He popped…

I found George by accident..He popped onto the business where I work and tgank god he did..From start to finish he has guided me through each and every step..Always at the end of the phone no matter the time or even the day..Even dropping everything one time to come and see me when I had a quiery..would I reccomend MyGuava,yes without any doubt but I would hole heartedly reccomend George.
