SCAM. After incorporating a new company we received a letter from them demanding payment for the formation, even though it was already paid. They obviously target newly formed companies and hope that people will see it as a legitimate request and pay.

Scam Alert!
Sent us a letter pretending to be 'Companies House Register' and asking us to pay £271 as "Fees for publishing the company's legal information in the public database of Companies House Register". Basically a scam to get you to pay money for absolutely nothing! Be aware and do not send them any money.
