DO NOT TOUCH THESE WITH A BARGEPOLE!!!!
This site has connections to checkmycar.io HUGE SPAM! avoid! fraud alerted! Block via your bank if you have already access their service. Your card details are not save!!!!

I agree with everything reported here; essentially a scam and it’s amazing they’re still at it! They refunded a number of payments and VISA raised a dispute which recovered more. Only half of what they 'defrauded' from me. The date it started was earlier than shown below. Best advice is to always check your card statements

Check what everyone says see that the companies response is the same lame one every time clearly NO morals at all
Stay clear fleeced my monthly for a £1.49 manual !!!!

Paid for what I believed was a one off payment for a manual to have just noticed they have taken a subscription from me.
Tried to plead to their better nature as I did not see this bit to which they replied it is clearly shown.
Well obviously not as I am not the first one by reading the reviews.
Absolutely disgraceful & underhand. DO NOT USE THEM

paid for a manual which I did not get and have just found out I have been charge a subscription fees for months disgusting

This is a scam. I bought a manual that turned out to be a quick start guide. Next thing I’m getting monthly subscription payments withdrawn from my account. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. Plenty of free sources and manufacturers sources.

Reply from Mymanuals
I would rate this with a zero, but it's not an option. There was at no point any indication this was a subscription. I simply bought an online manual. Since then, having already had to chase for the manual, the company has been taking an amount monthly. Unaware of this I reported it as fraud & also then spoken with thd company which has cancelled my subscription, despite me having been unaware this was a subscription. What was I paying a monthly subscription for? I had the one manual I had requested & purchased.

Don't do it. Agreed £1.49. in December last year. Only noticed in March £24.90 had been withdrawn on the 4 previous months. Apparently the offer is £1.49 for 72 hours and then hidden away it then rises to @24.90 a month unless cancelled Also couldn't understand the manual for the TV as it was four anymore of models Total rubbish. have given it one star as you can't give less

No comfort in realising I'm far from being the only whose fallen into the trap.
I would never knowingly enter into an agreement to make monthly subscriptions. No doubt Mymanuals are proud of hoodwinking a pensioner out of almost £90.

Reply from Mymanuals
Like many others I got caught, I did not notice the subscription agreement. They even forwarded the incorrect manual and when I informed them of this they did send an email saying they could not find the manual required. So, that does not clue them that you don’t want further manuals. Read Trustpilot first.

in purchasing a manual through this company, you inadvertently enter into a monthly £24.90 subscription. Not sure how this happened, but guess it is through clicking agreement to the terms and conditions WITHOUT READING them. I have checked the emails I have received from this company, and none of them mention the subscription agreement I had entered into. IF you are caught by this scam, it is easy to cancel the subscription on line, and in doing so, I received an email of confirmation. I reported to my bank who blocked further payments to this compoany, and I am now putting in a claim for repayment. Not sure how that will go!

To follow up on my last review, I would like to reaffirm my position on this scam. I thought about what ridiculous manual I could ask for, I came up with ( pregnant lemons) guess what, they have a user manual for them. If that doesn't tell you enough I will carry on. The manual I originally asked for was for a Toshiba tv, after many emails each way they informed me that they did not have one, no problem just give me my money back and I will be on my way. No no no came the reply, I had signed up for a contract and it would cost me £25 a month. It's in their terms and conditions but as you will now realise it is well hidden. So let's recap, They will charge you for a manual that clearly does not exist and then when you complain about it they will charge you a further £25 for ripping you off. I repeat total scam! Stay well away.

The search function on this company’s website is fake. If you type anything, and I mean literally anything, in the search box, the system shows that it is searching for your manual and always produces the same result telling you that your manual has been found. I typed Ambitious Tomatoes, Flying Giraffes, and Plastic Shopping Bag among many others. According to their search results, they apparently have user manuals for all these items. Try it yourself; just type anything!

I wish I had checked this company out with TrustPilot before innocently searching for a manual on it. Without me realising it they managed to take just under £25 a month out it an account I rarely use up to £150 before I realised I had been deceived. Cancelling it was easy enough with a phone call but by that time it was too late. After having read previous reviews about this service provider it almost qualifies as being described as a scam. At least I realise now that I made the same mistake of so many others.

unknowingly clicked on this at airport Birmingham while trying to fill urgent document ,did not mind the initial 1.49£ fee ,but realise then they charged 24.90£ ,complete scam!

I paid and received a manual as requested, no problem. Three days later they took £24.90 from my account and did so for the following 2 months. So far they have taken £74.70 without asking my permission unless it was automatic when I made a 1st purchase.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE UNLESS YOU WANT TO JOIN AND PAY AS ABOVE.
Thankfully the company is intending to reimburse me the extra monthly payments I have made which I am grateful for. Anyone wishing to buy through this company note the service is superb but make sure you note the terms when you sign

Beware the small print says you pay £24.90 after 3 days on automatic debit. Really dodgy!!!

Reply from Mymanuals
I recently ordered and received a manual having paid £ 1. 49.
Checking my account 3 days later I find an illegal charge of £ 24. 90 when I had not requested to continue any business with this company. No stars would be a more appropriate rating. My bank are sorting retrieval of my money and am checking out if this site can be allowed to continue as I see I am not alone.

I have just become the latest victim of this scam keep well away from this site. will now go to bank to see if I can recover any money.
