I was very disappointed
I was very disappointed, as reading all of the other reviews here, I thought my interaction would be much more positive! I started the online app process on my cellphone the evening of 12/26/24, with the $149 fee taken out immediately that evening. I secured a 9AM appointment on 12/27/24. When 9AM came around, no call from Dr. Joel Durinka, which made me start to think this was a scam! I finally received a call at 9:33AM from Dr. Durinka, although the extent of which was a total of 21 seconds! Dr. Durinka said that I was approved for my card, although NO OTHER INFORMATION was provided. I checked my gmail account regularly, although the only other communication I received from MY MMJ DOCTOR was a document that Dr. Durinka completed with the AZDHS logo at the top left. Every attempt I made to reach out to the MY MMJ DOCTOR website resulted in my being asked if I was a NEW/RETURNING MMJ patient. After googling reviews on trustpilot.com, along with feeling frustration and feeling taken advantage of, I found contact information for the MY MMJ DOCTOR and reached out via email on 1/14/25. I received a reply from Jason (Heally) on 1/15/25, although his response made me feel as if I were a recalcitrant child! I’m a 60-year-old professional and didn’t appreciate this treatment from Jason. Jason stated the following, “All of our patients are aware that they need to submit their approval to the state once they receive their doctor's approval. Which is not included on the $149 fee.” As I had mentioned to Jason in my email, NO ONE, not the website, and certainly not Dr. Joel Durinka had ever mentioned the additional fee, along with the additional process required to obtain my mmj card! I feel like I was swindled and taken advantage of and I’m NOW out $149! I am in the Customer Service industry and will be escalating this on my own, as I feel not only was Dr. Joel Durinka not helpful, but Jason Heally was not helpful with his reply to my email inquiry. I have spoken with friends and family regarding my online interaction, and they’ve all stated that this is an unsatisfactory situation, and I should receive a refund. Please apply at your own risk on the MYMMJDOCTOR website and GOOD LUCK! I hope that others receive a much more proactive customer service interaction than I have.

His focus during the call was to ensure you were eligible and certified promptly.
Regarding the next steps for obtaining your MMJ card, I would like to clarify that the additional state registration process and fees are clearly outlined on our website. Specifically, on the “Arizona State” page, we detail that patients must submit their certification and proof of residency to AZDHS and pay a separate state fee for the final issuance of the card. We apologize if this information was not reiterated during your call, and we’ll work on improving how we communicate these steps more clearly during consultations.
We are also sorry to hear about your frustration with our customer support interaction. It was never our intention to make you feel dismissed or unappreciated. We will review this internally to ensure that future communications reflect the professionalism and empathy we aim to provide.

Doctor stood me up, and support did not respond.
I set everything up and my card was charged for the appointment, but Dr. Joel Durinka never called me and support never responded to me when I let them know Dr. Durinka wasn't calling. I waited almost an hour past my scheduled time before I cancelled my appointment with Dr. Durinka and rescheduled with Dr. Kevin Kargman. Dr. Kargman did call me, though a bit late, and the process from there was OK. I will not be using My MMJ Doctor again.

Dr. Miller was available right when I wanted to meet with him to renew my license. He asked the right questions, he didn't judge me or make me feel bad for renewing my license. I used him for my original license, and it was a very easy process. I recommend My MMJ Doctor, and Dr. Miller for your MMJ license needs!
